Chapter 9: Taking Advantage Of The Mark
The next day, rumors had already spread like wildfire all over the place that the Alpha had found his mate and even marked her, that's why he did not feel the need to be at the Finding ceremony.
Even the omegas who worked at the Aloha house whispered and gossiped to each other in the early morning.
"He must be lucky to find his mate without even being at a ceremony hall"
"Maybe he got lucky because he is an Alpha"
"He must be selfish still to just hide his mate and leave the other guests hanging without even greeting them"
"The goddess was partial to him because he is an Alpha then"
"The goddess is always nice and impartial don't talk like that"
Every body believed the rumors quite alright but everyone also had their own separate opinion about the whole thing.
What they were not sure of exactly was who he marked, wether the rumor that he had marked an omega true or that he had marked Lora.
"But have you heard of who he marked?"
"I don't know but I just hope the rumors were wrong and he had not marked that witch in disguise"
"So then is it better that he marked an omega?"
"No never, that's an abomination such thing has never been heard of, the moon goddess herself would never make this kind of mistake"
"He must be very unlucky if his mate was between those two, an omega would only bring reproach and make him a laughing stock while the other would be a really big pain in the ass"
"What if they were both his mates?"
"It would be a hell of a ride for him then"
"Haha haha"
"Shoo, speaking of the devil.." the last one bush motioned with he mouth towards the entrance.
The other omegas had gathered and were gossiping about it in the early morning as they carried out their cleaning work in the Alpha House when they suddenly felt a shadow and saw that Lora was approaching them.
But she was not disturbed about any thing they said, in fact, she liked it, it will only booster her fame when everyone talked about her so that any one in the pack who doesn't know her would hear about her, after all, she will soon be their Luna now.
Lora walked majestically into the big parlor, she wore a green off shouldered floral gown that matches with her eye color making her skin pop and enhanced her beauty And took gradual steps as if waiting for someone to notice her.
Just then, the Luna came out of her room to see off some guests from yesterday when she saw Lora
Luna Oksana doesn't like her because she is a "slut" but if it turns out that she is his mate, she is definitely one of the best candidate for him if it had to be from the pack
Glad that it was not an omega when she saw the mark vaguely on her exposed neck, she welcomed her
"Lora you are here this early morning, were you able to sleep at all?"
"Oh aunty, do you care that much about me, how would I be able to sleep with this big mark on my neck"
As she said that, her right hand trailed to her neck where a very pronounced mark was made on display for everyone to see.
It looked very fresh with four bite holes that looked like that of a starved man, from afar, it looked ugly but still she held it with pride because it was her only opportunity for the future she wanted.
"If you will excuse me, I will find my mate upstairs"
With that statement, she flashed her white teeth and headed for the stairs to meet Alpha Adam in his room.
At least today she did not have to sneak to see him with this mark on her neck.
"What right do you have to openly enter my son's room like this you slut?"
Oksana wanted to say this, but the words were reserved in her mouth when she saw the the two Alphas who had made it for the Finding ceremony yesterday with their daughters with the hope that they would find a mate in the Alpha here.
One of the Alpha's daughter had found a mate at least even if it was not an Alpha but her case was better her, the other did not even find a mate here.
"I will get back to you"
Said the Luna queen before elegantly walking away from her in her beautiful blue chanson green gown that elongated her height and enhanced her skin color and beauty.
She went to meet the Alphas and their daughters at the entrance of the Alpha House.
"Alpha Khan and Alpha Zakinthos you are going so early now won't you wait for breakfast?"

"No Luna, it is enough the kind of hospitality you gave us yesterday"
Alpha Zakinthos laughed casually and answered her with sarcasm.
"Dada you know it's no one's fault"
His daughter answered trying to make her dad understand that it was nobody's fault she was not mates to the Alpha.
"No Fia he's right, we apologize for your discomfort sitting down and seeing other people find their mates while he's left to enjoy the free food served"
"That was uncalled for" finally Alpha Khan replied before following his friend who had zoomed away out of anger.
She just shrugged her shoulder before flashing them her beautiful white teeth not bothered by his anger.
