"You can't expect to travel with a group of women and things to be how you are used to," Tracy informed me as I carried one of the boars on my shoulder.
"What do you think adventure is?!" I asked.
"What you make of it! I never had to sleep on the open ground! Even in the wild, we set up tents and lay down blankets! Even sleep in our carriage!" Jessel insisted, making me roll my eyes.
We were heading back to town out of the forest, and the girls had all been on me since we left the clearing. I was starting to wonder if I shouldn't have tried for an all-men group, but it wasn't like I had a choice in the matter.
"We are not getting a carriage! Half the places we go will be hard to ride on horseback!" I complained, but no one was listening to me.
"Wow! You had a carriage, Jessel?! Was it really nice?!" Annie asked with excitement.
