After Clint and I had hung and bled the animals, we washed off and headed back out front, where the girls were waiting in the shade of the inn's entrance. They had all had time to change out of their combat gear, and now they were color-coded.
"Took you long enough," Annie complained in her red dress, but this one was more frilly than the one she wore when she fought.
"Don't give me that. We had to find a place to hang them first and then rope to do so!" I complained back.
"Let's just get to the tailors! There is no point in complaining about what has already happened!" Tracy declared in a form-fitting black dress that seemed to be attracting heat because she was sweating.
"You know, you can wear different colors, right?" Jessel told them both, but they turned on her and her cute little light blue dress that was like her battle dress.
"You can't talk; you are just the same!" Annie growled, and I laughed.
