"Clint, do you want to meet me outside? I want to talk to you before the girls come down," I said, and Clint nodded, looking unsure, but headed out of the inn.
I turned and looked back at Tom.
"So, I was supposed to get up and perform with your son last night, but I was in rough shape. I was hoping to do that tonight," I said to Tom, and he got a small smile.
"Really, that should be good!" Tom agreed, and I nodded.
"After I am done, you should invite the two of us back for drinks. I told him that I would get you to have some drinks with him and me," I explained.
"I can and will do that. I feel like my kids are starting to open up with you around!" Tom laughed, and I rolled my eyes.
"Try where that frightening smile more often, and you will need my help less!" I called as I turned and headed out of the building.
Clint was waiting for me, and he looked uneasy.
"So, what did you want to talk to me about?" Clint asked.
"Jessel," I said, and Clint put up his hands.
