"Wait, you know nothing about what you are going to try and do. This is not a joke, and if you don't listen to what I say, you could very well die," I said, and Annie's smile fell.
"What?! I could die?! You never said anything about that!" Annie exclaimed, and I sighed.
"Anytime you step into battle, there is a chance that you could die. Even when facing weaker monsters, there are times when you can be caught off guard. This is why I need you to listen to what I am saying. The monsters that are on the other side are not physical and can't physically hurt you," I explained, and Annie nodded, her face more severe.
"Okay, but if you are worried about them, that means they can still hurt me, right?" Annie asked, and I nodded.
