Her face, chest, and arms were all burnt from the sun, but her body was really not that hot.
"I am sorry for getting you all gross," Tracy said weakly, and I took her over to the wagon, lifting her up where Jessel helped steady her.
"Give her some of the potion. I need to go find the other one. I am sure that she will be in the same or worse shape," I groaned, turning to the tree to see a bit of red dress sticking out with a shoeless foot poking out.
I walked over and found Annie panting with the wooden sword stuck halfway into the tree. I was utterly shocked that she had made it this far in a single day; Annie was a sweating mess but was lucky she had the shade of the tree.
"Looks like I can't leave the two of you alone anymore. Both of you are boneheads, but I am proud of both of you. And I brought you a present!" I said as I reached down to scoop the mostly lifeless little body off the ground.
"...Present? Talon? What are you doing here so fast?" Annie asked, seeming out of it, and I carried her over to the wagon where Tracy was looking much better.
"Potion, please?" I asked, and Jessel passed it over, and I sat down with Annie and slowly fed her some.
Immediately, Annie's eyes snapped open wide, and she looked up at me with a smile, but I was frowning at her.
"What? Did you see how far I put it in the tree?!" Annie asked, and I nodded, still frowning.
"Yes, I did, but the two of you meatheads never took any breaks! If I didn't have this potion, you would have been in bed for the next two days! Please be more careful!" I scolded, and Annie looked away.
"But I did good!" Annie complained, and I patted her wet hair.
"Yes, you did, and I am very proud of you, but I would be even more proud if I didn't find the two of you collapsed!" I said.
"Umm, I wasn't passed out," Tracy said above me, and I looked up at her.
"That's because you are too stubborn! And you were in worse shape than Annie! Anyways, we have a Demon to slay," I said, trying to take my arms from around Annie, but she resisted me.
"I worked hard! Let me sit here for a bit! I earned it!" Annie growled, and I sighed.
"Can I have a turn? Or maybe I can wait until after you scrub my back?" Tracy asked from above, and I heard Jessel cough.
"What do you mean, turn? You let him wash your backs naked?!" Jessel exclaimed, and Tracy looked at her.
"Who are you?" Tracy asked, narrowing her eyes on Jessel's cute body similar to Annie's.
Oh, this was going to be good!
"This is Jessel, once Goddess of this world," I announced, and Jessel flinched, but Tracy's eyes spread wide open.
"But you're so small and adorable! I am sure that Talon will wash your back if you want!" Tracy exclaimed, but Annie grabbed my shirt for some reason.
"What?! Why would I want him to wash my back?! Can't one of you do it?" Jessel demanded, looking at Annie.
"Me?! Go wash your own back! He is mine!" Annie growled, now wrapping her sweaty little body into mine, not that I minded; I was just part of the crowd at this point.
"Yours?! I thought that we said we were going to share him!" Tracy exclaimed, looking down at Annie.
"You two are going to share him?!" Jessel exclaimed.
"I will share with you, Tracy, but not this crazy mean Goddess! Don't think I don't know the trick you tried to play!" Annie snapped, and I signed, finally stepping in.
"Don't be like that, Annie. Yes, she made some mistakes, but she is working on fixing them. She is now a mortal just like you," I explained as Annie rubbed the sweat off her face onto my shirt.
Her little worked-up body was pumping heat out, making us both sweat now. I didn't have the heart to push her off me since this was the cutest she had been with me, and I wasn't going to deny her.
"Fine, but that doesn't mean I will share with her!" Annie growled and then bit me, but not hard.
"I don't want to be some side dish for him! You can have him all you want!" Jessel said, crossing her arms, but Tracy leaned into her.
"Annie acted the same way before. Maybe you and I need to have a bath later? After I have one with Talon, of course! He owes me the same treatment now!" Tracy laughed, making Annie suddenly hop up from me.
"I am saving some for later then!" Annie declared, pointing down at me, and I rolled my eyes.
"You know, we can do this whenever you want. This doesn't have to be just a reward. I enjoy spending time with you both as well," I said.
"Don't interfere!" Annie said, shaking her finger at me but looking tired.
"We decided what we want!" Tracy added with a yawn, and I frowned at both of them and then looked at Jessel.
"You see what I have to put up with?" I groaned, wiping sweat from my arms.
"Don't you think that we should deal with the demon first? Then you two can fight over who gets to screw him first, right?!" Jessel demanded, but that only made both girls look at each other and become red-faced, making Jessel throw her hands up in the air in frustration.
"Maybe we should talk about this when Talon isn't here, you know. I think Annie should go first anyways," Tracy said, and Annie nodded, sitting down on the ground.
"Me too," Annie said, and Jessel let out a frustrated noise and slumped forward.
I was already untying Tagovia, getting really to roll him off. There were still two hours left on his stun, but I was getting hungry again and wanted to relax after the long day.
