"I am coming in!" Annie called, and I got up out of bed, rushing over to the door, opening it just as Annie was reaching for it while carrying a bunch of plates.
I quickly grabbed two of them, and she smiled at me.
"Thanks! I guess I should have asked for you to open the door, but I thought you might still be tired!" Annie said as we set down the plates.
"Have you bathed yet?" I asked, and Annie flinched back from me.
The food was all covered, so it could wait for a bit, but I could smell her from a couple steps away. Not that I minded, but it would be better to eat fresh and clean.
"No, but I changed my clothes!" Annie complained, and I shook my head.
"We both stink, and the food tastes much better if we are clean, I am sure. If you want later, we can go for a longer soak, or even go out to the river for a swim. I think it's more than warm enough for that," I said, and Annie sighed.
"You just want me to get undressed!" Annie snickered, and I nodded, making her blush.
