I plodded through the path to the lodge but stopped at intervals to relieve the sharp pain I feel I my ankle, the inscription seemed useless but in a way stock on my mind giving me countless thoughts.
I pulled out my mobile phone and put a call through go Gabriella, it seemed to be ages since we last spoke, I felt a sudden sting of guilt as I was just about to dial her number.
"Steph you're such a selfish girl, you only call her when you need to talk to her" I thought but I called her anyway.
"Hey Gabs, how are you?" I said weakly
"Bonjour mademoiselle,...hey..you sound dull, what's wrong?" she responded jokingly
" I'm good just wanted to let you know I'm in Oklahoma for my final mission, to clear Olivia's name and try to get to know who she used to be" I said.
"We promised to go together Steph? Are you sure you're fine? I'd meet you there tomorrow" she proposed
"Actually Jay came with me" I said
