Two months have passed since the fall of the G-Force. Peace and tranquility endured, but it didn't last for long. Deep in outer space, an alien watched a recorded fight between Mason and Zelfire and Nimbus.
"What a powerful warrior indeed. He has beaten Destructo and Nimbus. I would love to meet this sayan named Mason." He wagged his tail in pleasantness.
Galactus: "Mason? Hmmm, that name sounds familiar."
Galactica: "Of course."
Starburst: "What is it?"
Galactica: "He is the son of Burdok!"
Starburst: "You mean the traitor?"
Galactus: "Yes, now I remember."
Starburst: "I'm sure he would make a worthy opponent."
Galactus: "Yes, he seems to be stronger than most Sayans are."
Galactica: "You're only saying that because Nimbus was defeated by him. He claimed to be 'the strongest sayan in the universe,' but that was just a bluff."
Galactus: "You may be right about that. We all know who the strongest sayan is."
Starburst: "Take us down to earth, now."
Galactus and Galactica (together): "Yes, Starburst!"
The heroes were living their normal lives again, with Kane as their newest member in the group. He adopted earth's customs already and was getting used to it.
One day Leila decided that they should do something exciting, and called for a get-together. She suggested they take a vacation from their lives and go mountain climbing for several days. They thought it was a good idea, so they planned for that day.
Today was that day. By now, they were half way to the top.
The sun was beginning to rise, and...
"Wow, you're right. The air is much fresher in this altitude." Kane said as he stood on the very edge of the mountain road.
"Yep, there's nothing like a mountain climbing vacation." Zelfire said. "Back on ground level the air is filled with pollution from the cities."
"I knew you guys would love it here. You can thank me later for giving you this idea. And doing all the planning for you." Leila commented.
"It's so peaceful and quiet up here." Terry said.
"C'mon Terry, come watch the sunset with us!" Zelfire said.
So he joined them.
The five of them together were dazed by the beauty of the sky as the sun rose, but their enjoyment was interrupted by a distant explosion. Some of the trees below caught fire and they could see the smoke.
Kane: "What is that?"
Zelfire: "A big explosion."
The heroes could sense the presence of the warrior who caused it. "Guys…" Terry said, sweating. "I have a bad feeling about this."
Zelfire: "There is no way that can be a natural disaster. It has be caused by a single person."
Kane: "A single person…"
Piper: "Could this be another one of your friends, Kane?"
"I don't know." the guy replied.
Zelfire: "Let's check it out. My curiosity is killing me."
Piper: "Is that a good idea?"
Zelfire: "This is not something that can be ignored."
Kane: "Alright, let's go."
The five of them traveled towards the fire that was produced. When they arrived at the scene, all they saw was a big fire.
"What could have caused this?" Terry asked.
"Who would do such a horrible thing?" Leila said.
Terry: "We've got to put out this fire before it spreads through the whole forest!"
Piper: "But how?"
Suddenly, a big gust of wind blew against them, and it was so strong it put out the fire and lifted them off their feet. Everybody held on to something and closed their eyes. When it was over they were all confused.
Zelfire: "Uuuuuh...what happened?"
Terry: "Uuuuh..."
"That was some strong wind." Leila said.
Kane: "No kidding! It blew out the fire."
Piper: "How can that be? This day is getting too weird. Can some one explain what's going?"
"I'll explain." said a voice from the sky. Everyone directed their attention to the aliens.
He landed on the ground with Galactus and Galactica standing besides him.
Leila: "W-who are they?"
Kane: "Can it be him?"
Terry: "Who?"
Kane: "It's Starburst!"
Starburst: "I'm glad someone here still recognizes me. I never expected to find you here, Kane."
Kane: "I'm glad someone knows me, too."
Starburst: "Heh heh heh, how could I not know you? I've heard so many stories of you saving planets. Those rumors are everywhere!"
Kane: "Those aren't rumors, they're facts!"
Piper, confused: "What is going on here? I think I'm getting left out."
(They seem to know each other. This Starburst guy is no ordinary foe. I gotta be careful.) Terry thought.
Starburst: "I see you've made some friends on this planet. You must be so proud!"
Kane: "I don't want to hear your sarcasm."
Starburst: "No, I mean it. You have done well, Kane. You managed to know a friend like Mason, one of the strongest sayans I've ever known."
[Split screen - 4] - [Leila, Zelfire, Piper, Terry].
Terry: "How do you know?"
Starburst: "I know more than you think, my dear friend. I've been watching you, and throughout the last few battles you've shown incredible strength. Destructo and Nimbus died at your hands! You really amaze me."
"Alright, enough talk. What do you want?"
Galactus: "Isn't it obvious? Our boss wants to challenge you."
Kane: "No thanks..."
Galactus (pointing at Terry): "Not you, fool! Mason!"
Terry: "Me?"
Starburst: "That's right. You are the only one who's worthy to fight me."
Zelfire (angrily): "Are you saying that we're not worthy?"
Starburst: "I'm not saying it, it is a fact."
Galactica: "If you think you can handle our boss, you're way off your league, earthling."
Zelfire: "Hey I have a name, you know. It's Zelfire."
Galactus: "Whatever."
Starburst: "Well, what do you say? What's your answer? Do you accept my challenge, or are you too afraid to fight me?"
Terry: "I don't have a choice, do I?"
Starburst (sarcastically): "Not only you're strong, but you're smart, too."
And thus, Terry accepted Starburst's challenge, a fight to the death. Also, it was decided that Kane and Zelfire will fight Galactus, while Piper will fight Galactica. Leila gave them good luck and her faith to them and went somewhere else to avoid the dangers.
The battle was about to begin...the warriors took their place on the fields and prepared for the fight of their lives. Terry and Starburst stood in front of each other, face to face. They stared at each other. All they saw in their eyes was the defeat of his opponent. Mason was a bit scared, yet excited that he could fight some one so powerful. He loved challenges, and although this one was a little dangerous, it was still a challenge he couldn't refuse.
Starburst chuckled as he was looking at Mason.
"What's so funny?"
Starburst: "I've never been so happy...you are the one, I can feel it! All my life I've been searching for a worthy opponent. Only a few who fought me made a worthy fight. I'm sure you can make this a worthy fight!"
Terry: "Be careful what you wish for."
Starburst: "You're lucky, you know that? Not many get the honor to fight Starburst, third strongest fighter in the universe!"
Terry: "You're exaggerating."
Starburst: "Oh am I?"
"If you're the third strongest fighter, who's the second and first?"
"You don't have a clue, do you? Of course not, you've been on earth since you were a baby. The only two beings who are stronger than me is my father, and Dark Spectre. Every one knows that!"
Terry: "Dark Spectre? Some one else has mentioned that name before..."
"Of course you've heard of him. Almost every fighter who ever lived knows his name. He is the ruler of the Dark Empire, and the most powerful fighter in the universe."
"He's the most powerful guy in the...universe?"
"Enough of this. It's time to begin!"
"Fine, then. I don't like your stories anyway."
On the other front, Piper and Galactica began to fight. Galactica insulted Piper to piss him off.
"Hmm, I don't know why I'm even wasting my time with an earthling."
Piper: "A waste of time? I'll show you!"
Galactica: "C'mon! Gimme your best shot!"
Piper punched, but he dodged again and again. Left, right, left, right! Piper kept on going to make sure he couldn't fight back. Piper made a punch, but Galactica jumped to the side, and kicked him in the guts, then kicked him again. Piper moaned and groaned from the pain.
Galactica: "Fool! You should work on your defense. Offense alone isn't enough!"Piper (grunting): "I don't need you to tell me how to fight!"
Galactica: "Fine, then have it your way." He kicked Piper again, then continued with a combo. Kick, kick, kick, punch! Piper was losing badly.
Kane and Zelfire began their assault in the air and attacked together. They were hardly a match for him. Galactus's two arms were like four arms as he fought back with lightning speed. He got in between them, and hit them both away. Then they charged a blast together and fired, then Galactus evaded and the two energies hit each other.
"Ha ha ha ha! You morons. Are you fighting me or each other?"
This insult really angered Zelfire and Kane more than they thought. They continued fighting intensely and won't stop until the end.
Finally, Terry and Starburst began their fight. They charged at each other and hit at the elbow, then at the fists. Starburst fired laser beams from his eyes. He aimed at Terry, but he was too fast to get hit. As they continued, they knocked each other into rocks and into the ground. Every time they hit something, it exploded. Almost everything that touched their energy fields was destroyed. Surely, it was the most dangerous battle the earth had ever seen.
