'Such ruthlessness. They really came from our kind.' Wilhelm thought after seeing the massacre that just occurred here in the village where he just arrived at.
The view only became worst after entering the village where multiple corpses lay lifelessly at the ground covered with their own supposed bloods.
*TSk*
Fuckers!
Wilhelm can't help but feel disgusted both to the bodies of the dead and the one who caused it. The ruthlessness was just too much for him and if only he arrive a minute earlier, another massacre would surely occur here.
He didn't waste much time mourning the dead and hurriedly head towards the heroine's house. The moment he came near, he found a familiar body. The father of Emma.
Beheaded, but still, noticeable.
The face of Wilhelm as he saw it was filled with regrets and guilt. He know he can save them, but at the same time he can't.
Cowardice, they might say.
But to Wilhelm, intervention will only happen if foreign threats were to occur. Pledged to himself, he will never make a large scale intervention without great cause.
He will not lead these beautiful creation of his to a similar path they took.
Shaking his head to remove such thought, he move again and arrive in front of the supposed house.
There, he sense it, or rather, his companion, a floating triangle robot that broke physics.
(Three heat signature detected, possible threat. Remain stand by.)
"No, it's them." he said, not minding the warning of his companion and knock.
"Anybody home?!!!" he shout loudly that can be heard by the entire villagers if they were alive. However, no response were made which made him worried.
"Are you sure you detected them?"
(Certainly, one of them have a faint heat and I doubt I'm malfunctioning.)
'Sarcastic robot.' he thought before trying to open the door only to know its jammed.
"Smash this." as soon as he order. The robot didn't hesitate and shot the door resulting a massive force that made the door fly through the other corner of the room.
And what appear is the two sibling. The woman with porcelain skin, yellow eyes, Grey-colored hair dressed in a commoner's tunic while holding the mouth of her terrified brother who have a similar feature expect their hair which is shorter than hers considering he's a boy.
The excitement within me outgrew my straining emotion and suddenly blurt out a creepy familiarity words.
"You must be Emma. Hello, I'm Wilhelm!"
*Tud*
Then just like that, the girl faint falling to the ground with a low tud sound.
"Em, em. don't leave me!" the terrified boy shake the body of his unconscious sister as Wilhelm get closer.
"P-please, d-don't kill me." The terrified boy said as he gripped hardly to his sister's clothes trying to protect his sister and stop himself from doing anything foolish.
This kind of action made Wilhelm's corner lips rise and smile due to adoration.
'Just like his sister, they both cared to each other. I wonder what kind of boy will this grow up? A siscon?' Not knowing where did he get such thought, he simply rest assured him as he pat his head.
"Don't worry, strong boy. I won't hurt you nor your sister. Instead, I will save both of you. Can you trust me?" Wilhelm made a warm smile as he tries to convince the boy only to make a surprise condition.
"O-okay, but first let's make a pinky promise!"
Wilhelm made a surprise expression and laugh wholeheartedly upon hearing the innocent suggestion of this boy.
"Of course, why not?!" His shout was filled with joy and didn't even hesitate to offer his pinky fingers to the boy, which made the boy accept it.
"I'm Wilhelm, what about you?" He ask knowing his name already.
"M-my name is Manuel, short for Emmanuel." He said timidly.
"Then, Manuel. Would it be alright if I carry your sister to my place? It's kinda messy here. Oh, should I also carry your mom?"
"B-but she's dead." He said with a sad muttering voice.
"We might save her if you trust me." Wilhelm once again reassured the boy by giving him a warm smile.
The boy nodded strongly which also made Wilhelm happy.
"Then, help me. My companion here will guide us so follow him while carrying these things." Wilhelm said as he give his equipments to the boy.
After that, they left for the camp where Wilhelm used to rest for his first night.
