Chapter 4 - Escape

Days passed since they left, they finally arrived at Wilhelm's camp.

This is because of the boy's lack of stamina and little legs that it took them a day to arrive. Although, it doesn't really matter to Wilhelm since he got all the time he needed.

Also, along the way, their mother was taken care of by Wilhelm's companion. It may be miracle but according to his companion, the lady seems to have suffer internal bleeding, however, to its surprise, her supposed corpse had functioned normally despite the severity of her situation.

Wilhelm can only conclude that it is due to their unusual power which they call Terra.

"Will my mother be okay?" Ask by the boy who seems tired.

"Rest assured, boy. She may be in her weak state but this is due to her being strong. I'm sure she will be okay." Wilhelm reassured the boy once again and carry both of the ladies to his camp.

"What I should do?" Feeling a little confuse about his surrounding, the boy ask if there's something e should do for the time being.

Wilhelm simply gesture his hand for him to follow him inside.

"Take care of them until they wake up. I'll be leaving for a bit." He said before handing a weird looking item that emits azure light.

"You know colors?" He ask as he hand over the item.

"Yes..." He answered timidly.

"Great, then when this thing turn red, just press that button over there. After that, you can't head outside, okay?" Wilhelm said as he points toward a red button right beside the door that leads outside.

"Yes." Though a little confuse, Manuel merely nodded.

Thus, the end of their conversation.

Wilhelm left and head outside leaving the lonely boy. However, the boy's face can be seen gaining its confident as he look towards the ladies that lay rest on an unusually neat and comfortable looking bed.

'I'll protect both of you mother and sis, like father told me!' he thought as he grip the item that was given to him a moment ago.

-----

"And that's it. I will be heading to Trinidad!" he cheerfully said as he thought about the face of the other lady he simps.

His companion, the triangular looking robot that floats in air, simply blink its digital eyes confirming the foolish act of his master.

Suddenly, a small aircraft, similar to an osprey can be seen descending from the sky with almost no sound.

Unlike to the people of this world, Wilhelm can't use Terra. And the only thing he can take advantage of is his mind and technology.

This right here, in front of him is a technology that he discovered and at the same time invented three thousand years ago. An anti-gravitational technology that human once desired and use to travel interstellar space.

Unfortunately, their demise came sooner that their desire.

Going back, Wilhelm head inside the already docked spacecraft of his and prepared for departure, leaving the three people he have saved from the already lifeless village.

And, although still felt bitter from the sight, he can only look forward to his meeting with the interesting princess that always try to escape from her cage.

-----

"No guards?" A voice of a girl can be heard at the corner of the castle's hallway.

There, a silhouette of a person hides in the dark against the light that illuminated from the glass roof. Despite the strong advice of her servants, she seems to have not mind it and simply sneak once again.

Confirming there's no current guard stationed at the library. She starts to move, albeit silently. Upon arriving, she immediately open the door and enter it hurriedly.

There, she saw multiple books. But it's not that what she needed. Seele walk through the bookcases and pass by the great history of her family, at the corner of the room, she knock a few tiles.

*Tuck*

Smiling, she confirm the secret passage's door. Without any further hesitation, she forcefully open it and immediately went inside.

At last, she was able to escape from the castle as she arrive at the back of the castle's wall which then a two figure appear right in front of him.

"Your Highness, you escaped again. I see." the voice of the man made Seele flinch. Her nervous and anxious face can never been so obvious as she slowly raise her head and body towards the man that just spoke.

However, upon seeing the face, she didn't recognize it.

"W-who are you? Are you one of my father's spy?" Seele can't help but ask the question as she thought about an idea on how she can escape in such situation.

"Nope." the man answered.

"Then, are you my mother's secret lover?"

"Ew, no." a little offended, the man made a disgusted tone.

"Then who...!?"

"My name is Wilhelm, hello there, Seele Trinidad."
