The Deep Forests is a vast area teeming with mana beasts of all levels. However, due to the dangers of exploring deeper regions, this territory remains unexplored.
While the Deep Forests are home to a plethora of monsters and creatures, they also house wondrous treasures with long-forgotten origins that are available to those who dare to seek them.
Many adventurers and mercenaries have written about the dungeons and lairs of powerful entities and the riches that can turn even the most generous priest greedy.
According to the archive information of the Council of Assassins and Adventurer guild that Mr.Blue Grim gave me, the Deep Forest spans the borders of the Even Mountains and the Vrisorid Kingdom.
We were already in the Elven Mountains, and as I walked through the woods, I noticed that the terrain was quite complex. There are wetlands, swamps and so on.
What can I say, my walk is long, and the man with me walks with me by lurking in the shadows without revealing his identities, man, I'm exhausted. But I can keep walking because I'm not tired or anything. Even when I'm tired, I can always use mana to enhance my body.
Mr.Blue grim and I killed the minor level mana beasts that came at us with each depths inside. I used my wind mana to create wind blades in a split second. Mr.Blue grim killed them all with his dagger alone.
He claims that there are more dangerous mana beasts inside, and that we must proceed with caution. For me, everything is an adventure.
The path down the mountain was not straightforward. It was simple to jump the tree branches and use martial arts to move our legs cross and straight. I must say, I'm impressed. This is profound training, and to think like this... Mr.Blue Grim is extraordinarily intelligent.
At this time, seeing my steps, Mr.Blue Grim suddenly called me and asked, "I see you have mastered the mountain walking. So, How about a challenge?"
I smiled at him with a sly expression. Well, I'm confident in myself after all. "Sure, we can see who is descending faster mister Grim!"
Mr.Blue Grim used Earth mana to raise landscapes to run like steps as soon as we agreed. I assumed he was referring to normal Mountain Walking, but he never mentioned it. Whatever, I have my own set of tricks.
I played with wind and created Wind blades that were slightly larger than normal blades. And as I lifted them into the air, I stepped on them like the Sole of my cloth shoes, lifting me into the sky as if I were flying. Walking in the air is not the same as flying.
"Huh?"
"Hey! How can you fly, you are merely in the Light red stage right Kid?" Mr.Blue grim was taken a back and stopped descending from the mana made Earth Magic steps.
I can't blame him for being taken aback. Only mages at or above the Silver mana core stage can use Flight magic, whereas I am a Light red mana core mage who has already taken my first steps toward flying. To be honest, this is my first time using this method.
aWhen I first created this technique, I thought it would fail, but as I used Wind magic and lightning magic to reinforce my shoes and dresses with enchantments to use in fights, I was able to do it correctly.
With that, we began our descent. We didn't stop and continued walking. Other dungeons are nearby, but Mr. Blue Grim said something along the lines of, "Yeah yeah, I know where to go! Come on!".
"Sighs"
Suddenly as we were walking, "So, Ethan! What are your future plans? now that you have come out of your home!".
I didn't given it much thought but, at least from all the information and the world here, I want to become strong.
"Ahm...Sir, I want to become strong!" I answered plainly.
Blue Grim smiled at me.
"Yeah, I figured you would say that kiddo!"
"You did?"
"Yes. And, are you willing to join the Council?"
I should've guessed that comming from some one like him.
"Well, may be!"
"May be? Then at least take up the test!"
"Test?"
Woah, there is some kind of test for joining the Council of assassins? I didn't see that comming. Well, I think it would be great to take the test, but I don't want to join the council.
"Sure, I will take the test, and lets see what happens after that."
