Calida used her wind mana to create denser fog around us all as we stood in our stances. I'm still not sure how she does it, but once the battle is over, I'll be able to ask her about it.
Seeing the mana surrounding her, she must be a solid Orange core mage. I should play m cards well.
With the tip of my left foot on the ground as the match began, I used lightning mana to reinforce myself to move like an arrow, and once I began, I immediately went straight towards Calida.
On the run, I condensed wind mana with my wind mana. The manipulation, however, was not intended to be launched at Calida this time. I had another plan to attack Calida.
"When I win, kid, I will keep you as my adorable dog!" Calida began to act, the dense fog around her instantly condensed and transformed into ice thorns, blocking my attacks.
I really should have known better. She is not a Wind mage, but rather an Ice mage. That thought never occurred to me!!
Now I know how she creates fog. I should be careful.
"You are an Ice mage? Cool!" I said as I jumped above him and induced lightning mana with the wind blade condensed in my both hands.
I can break the ice with equal force with my mana and body, no matter how strong the ice thorns she creates.
As I let go of the wind blades in my left hand, the lightning and the force of the wind destroyed the ice, allowing the wind blade in my right hand to attack Calida directly.
"Calida! Watch Out!" her brother shouted from the sidelines. Erhm...from near the trees.
Calida was alerted while listening to her brother, as I was directly approaching by piercing through her fog.
Calida began to reinforce her body with mana, knowing that the ice element has good defensive capabilities. But, while the defense was strengthened, she was planning a slow attack. Which, in my opinion, was a huge mistake.
My mother had made me read many books back home, and now at at last, my conclusion about Ice elemental mana is that after using a defensive technique, the user should immediately use their powerful offensive attacks, as the element's perception will be increased for the user due to the strong defense.
Calida should've known better than to take her time with her attacks, thinking her defensive would be strong enough to stop my wind and lightning.
"Sighs!"
"Pity, you are really a stupid Miss Calida!"
"Huh? How dare you!!!"
"You think you can stop me with that kid Tier reinforcement?" I advised as I got close to her face. And just like that..I vanished in front of Calida's eyes, by using Lightning mana to electrify my muscles from within.
It's essentially a lightning affinity mana skill that I trained with a spell, but now that I've mastered it, I don't need to use a spell to use it. Actually, this technique causes lightning to send currents through my nerves, allowing me to quicken my reflexes several times in a short period of time. However, it has some drawbacks. I can only reduce the amount of time I take.
"Huh? He vanished?"
"He...Vanished?'
"Woah! Is he really a kid?"
Everyone was at an aw, and then was the unexpected turn of events.
"Bang!"
I used wind and Lightning to create a shorter-distance Shockwave and placed it against Calida's torso.
"HUa...." She flew straight up and down, and the part of the attire, the cloth that covered her torso was ripped away in a circle exposing her skin.
However, It was effective at the least right!
"Calida!!" Their teacher yelled out in amazement and anger.
You stupid girl, you dare to call me a brat. You would have died by now if I hadn't held back.
Hmm. It's a good thing it didn't happen. She was a fantastic Ice attributed mage who also did her best to heal her party. If that had happened, I would have felt terrible.
"It seems, we have a winner for the first round! haha!" Blue Grim said out loud.
"Tch!" The middle aged man stood clenching his fists in anger and embarrassment.
"Is that Lil Boy really Light red stage?" The man with the spear said with scratching his head.
"Indeed he is! haha!! Blue Grim replied.
"You Brat!"
Everyone appears to be enraged. First, let's play it safe.
I approached Calida's body slowly and checked her breathing. It wasn't stable and when I reinforced my ear to here her heartbeat, it seemed fading.
"Oh no!"
"You! What are you doing with my sister!?" The brother guy charged towards me.
I raised my right hand to prevent him from approaching.
"Be quiet, or your sister will end up dead!" I said to him, facing Calida.
I wasn't concerned, but I don't want this girl to die over a fight like this. This is against my code, and she has so many things to see before she ended up dead.
I'll assist her. I have to assist her.
I know. I think I should try cardioversion.
As an assassin in my past life, I had to learn every medical and scientific procedure to survive. Although not as a professional, I can do it as an experienced individual.
Cardioversion, in my old world, it is a medical procedure that uses quick, low-energy shocks to restore a regular heart rhythm. It is used to treat certain types of irregular heartbeats, such as atrial fibrillation.
I'm now using precise lightning to keep her heart stable.
I gradually increased my lightning mana to a maximum of 700 Volts. The crackles of lightning around my hands allowed me to feel the Volts. I'm not sure how I did it, but it's not important right now.
"Hey mister Brother! Turn your sister's body straight!"
"Why?"
"Don't you want your sister to live?"
This guy is such a pain in the ass.
I rubbed my hands together and slowly induced the lightning from Calida's chest as her brother flipped her body straight.
Calida's heart raced in response to the first shock, and she exhaled heavily. It was still insufficient. After all, a normal human takes three times as long.
Counting that I repeated the procedure twice. She quickly opened her eyes after the shock the last time, and when I reinforced mana to my ears to check, her heartbeat had stabilized.
"HUh?"
"What? Its a miracle"
"She came back to life?"
"Wha..at?"
When the party members and Blue Grim saw what had happened, they were taken aback.
Well, I did something that no great mage in this world could do!
"Aid..en...What's going...on!" Calida slowly spoke as she was being held in her brother's hands.
"Sis, you are alright! Thank goodness!"
Phew! I finished it!
Even if I did this with my mana, if there is magic required for development, it would be preferable if this world had an electro Resuscitator. Perhaps I'll make some in the future and teach people about them.
Huh, I still need to grow in strength in order to be recognised by everyone in this world.
"Don't try to do anything, take rest first!" I said to Calida as she tried to get up.
