Ikari grips his fist in anger, still looking at his burning house.
"Don't you already have to much heat on you?" Star asks.
"What if the guards come back and find you?" the girl continues asking.
"Then I'll just kill them too." Ikari says with no expression.
"You can't be serious..." Star says, looking at Ikari with concern.
Ikari disregards her and begins to follow the scent of the bandits.
Star sighs and follows him.
"How can you even tell we're going in the right direction?" Star says, concerned.
"Its their scent; they reek of booze." The boy says.
"Must be trying to drink the pain away..." He silently says to himself.
"Are you sure you want to this?" Star once again asks him.
Ikari doesn't even acknowledge what she said.
"Guess that means yes..." She says under her breath.
The rest of the walk is silent, Star continues to look at Ikari.
"Its like... His rage is only just making him stronger..." Star thinks to herself.
Star can sense his power gradually increasing the angrier he gets.
"strange..." she says to herself.
Ikari suddenly stops in his tracks.
"12 men up ahead, some are armed while some are not." Ikari says.
Smoke fills the air and suddenly flames become visible.
"Campsite ahead." Ikari whispers to Star.
"You stay back while i end these bastards..." Ikari says.
"what? no way!" Star whisperers back.
"This is my business, not yours." The boy replies.
"But I at least want to help a little bit!" Star whispers sadly.
"You can help by shutting up and staying here." Ikari says, staring at her.
Star is surprised at his words; she complies silently.
"Thank you." Ikari says before walking towards the campsite.
Star remains there, she looks down and sighs.
As the boy gets closer, the sound of cheering, music and yelling hits his ears.
"This ones for you!" A man says. Ikari hears a bottle of something pop open then another cheer erupts.
Ikari continues walking forward, placing his hand on his sheathed dagger.
"We got that bastard real good didn't we?" Laughs another one of the men.
Ikari slowly unsheathes his dagger before stepping in front of the campsite.
"Who the hell are you?" A oversized man says.
"Im guessing you bastards are the one that finished my house?" Ikari asks with no sort of tone in his voice.
"We guess that your the brat who killed our friends." Another man stands up and says.
"I'll gladly do it again." Ikari says revealing his dagger at the men.
The rest of the bandits unsheathe their weapon. The men and the boy stare at each other for minutes although it seems like hours before Ikari makes the first move.
In a blink of an eye Ikari is gone, dust occupies his former position.
"Where did he-" The man is halted by someone coughing up something, the men look to their left and all they see is one of their own, with a dagger through their chest.Ikari stands behind the man he pulls out the dagger out of his back and pierces him again, ending his life.
"You Bastard!" Screams one of the men.
The men begin to run towards Ikari. The boy just stares at them; his dagger emits the same dark red aura as one of the bandits get closer. The bandit swings his sword at the boy; he easily side steps the attack, Ikari stabs the man in the hip before sweeping his legs from under him and stabbing him again in the chest, executing him.
Another bandit prepares his sword to attack Ikari, but the boy suddenly dashes in front of him.
"CrossSlash!" The boy yells, he slashes his sword downwards against the man's torso. A massive cut appears on the bandit's chest before blood sprays out of it. Ikari stands up straight as he observes the rest of the men.
"Only nine left." The boy says to himself.
The group of bandits look at each other before they start to circle around Ikari. The boy keeps his eyes on the group, ready for any move.
Suddenly one of them runs at Ikari only to be meet with a dagger through his stomach.
"Now!" The oversized man says.The rest of the bandits begins to run at Ikari who's occupied. They all jump onto the boy and begin punching, kicking and even biting him.
Ikari struggles under the bandits, getting more and more pissed. He tries to reach for his dagger, but someone grabs his hand and snaps it. The boy yells in pain.
"Get off of me!" The boy screams, a dark red aura begins to form around the boy. One of the bandits grabs Ikari's dagger and says.
"It would be a shame if we killed you with your own weapon?" The man laughs, he puts the dagger over his head, ready to slam it into Ikari.
The rage in Ikari is at its highest point, ready to snap at any moment.
"You bastards! I'll kill you ALL!" He screams as the dark red aura completely surrounds him and the men. His scream echos through the forest. Suddenly the bandits get sent flying backwards as Ikari is still surrounded in the aura.
"W-what the hell is going on?" One of the men asks. Suddenly laughing is heard from the aura as it slowly begins to fade away. A figure stands where the aura once was. There stands Ikari with a wicked smile on his face, wounds fully healed. His dark red eyes have turned even darker, his red hair has changed into blood red color that is constantly flowing with the wind. The dark red aura constantly follows Ikari; it spirals around him as if he was like a light to a moth.
"Bloodlust, stage 1." Ikari says with the devilish smile still on his face.
Star's head perks up whenever she hears a scream.
"Was that? Ikari?" She asks herself. She quickly gets up.
"Is he okay?" She thinks to herself.
"What if..." She quickly shakes her head and begins to follow the screams.
Ikari's smile fades away as he points his hand at the man who has his dagger, The dagger flies out of the man's hands and straight into Ikari's. The boy sheathes the dagger and stares at the men.
"I don't need a weapon to end all of you." He says coldly.
"Y-you bastard! do you know who you're talking to?!" One of the men says angrily.
The man runs at the rage infested boy and throws a punch at him, he easily catches his arm and snaps it, his arm goes fully limp. The man screams in terror and pain. Ikari knocks him to his knees and takes the man's sword.
"It would be a shame if I claimed your life with your own sword." The boy says with a smirk. He slashes the man's sword against his own chest.
The boy snaps the sword in half before flinging both pieces away.
The bandits stare in disbelief but they suddenly come to whenever Ikari starts running at them.
A fireball forms into the boy's hand, One of the men slash their sword at him but he easily dodges and slams the fireball into their chest, ending the mans life. Another man tries releasing a combo of attacks onto the boy but once again Ikari easily parries all of the attacks, he kicks the man to his knees and slams his leg into the man's head which propels him flying into a tree.
Two more men come running at Ikari, He dodges a punch from one of the men, the other man slings his sword at him but he ducks under the weapon. The boy picks up the man with the sword and flips him onto the other bandit, leaving them both stunned. A fireball forms into Ikari's hand, he tosses it onto the bandits that are quickly engulfed in the flames.
Ikari slowly turns to the remaining bandits and begins walking towards them.
The man in the middle looks at the men to his left and right.
"Don't just wait, go kill this bastard!" The man yells. Ikari's fists light on fire as the two bandits begin to run at him.
The scream as they swing their sword at them, but they stop completely in their tracks and drop their swords. The final bandit's eyes pop out as he sees Ikari's fists going through both bandit's chest. He pulls his fists out of the bodies as they plop to the ground.
The blood enveloped boy continues to leisurely walk towards the final bandit who just falls to his knees.
"P-please i have a son..." The man pleads.
"I'll be sure to send him my regards." Ikari replies coldly.
"Please! I'll give you anything you want!" The man yells.
"I want you to shut up and perish." The boy says, he kicks the man in the chin which makes him fall on his back.
"You were just like your friend, begging for mercy after realizing there was no possible way you could kill me." The boy says with no emotion; he gets on top of the man and begins to punch him repeatedly.
The boy continues hammering the man with every ounce of rage, anger and frustration that they caused for him.
Ikari is about to punch the man again, but someone grips his arm and halts him. He swiftly looks to his right and sees Star staring into his eyes.
"Its over Ikari, C'mon lets go." She says.
The boy shakes her off and goes to punch the man again, but Star once again catches him and says.
"Its okay, you proved your point." Star says, trying to comfort him.
Ikari looks at her then back to the man. He's beaten badly, blood all over his face, broken nose, broken jaw, and most importantly he's barely breathing.
"C'mon Ikari," Star says with a smile.
Ikari slowly gets up from the man. The dark red aura gradually fades away from him and his appearance changes back to normal.
"I d-don't feel so well..." Ikari says before he passes out.
"I-Ikari!" Star yells while catching his unconscious body.
