"Huang Wen Zhou was on the phone when I found him," Yang Ran said with a shrug. "Perhaps, he had thought that I might have overheard his conversation."
"Did you hear them?"
"I heard that he was looking for me." Yang Ran flashed him a smile. "Did you know? Huang Wen Zhou had lured me to L City. However, I could guess that it was a trap and did not show up."
Qi Ming Wei stared at her for a long time.
Even though he knew that Yang Ran was still keeping some matters a secret from him, Qi Ming Wei knew that Yang Ran was not lying. At least, most of her words were the truth.
"Commander Qi, do you have other questions for me?" Yang Ran asked. "If it's possible, I would like to lie down for a bit."
A lot of things happened and she was mentally exhausted.
