Truth does not mind being questioned A lie does not like being challenged, but when you keep asking the same thing over and over maybe, those people who believe in their version of the truth- that truth is set for them to be the actual truth.
As people gather for ploy's funeral vigil at her house, everyone came from miles around just to pay their respects. She can see that they all care about her—even the strangers who don't know her. It's not the sort of thing you do lightly.
The air was heavy with grief; the acrid scent of burning incense permeated the room and the decorations of plastic flowers on ploy's picture frame and her pictures resembled her when she was living, even the clergy that was hosting the funeral.
Then she saw a childhood picture of her on the wall. Ploy asks beam.
"I don't feel I was particularly interesting on the night that I died. and why is that damn picture there? Did you know after taking that picture I got rejected by my elementary crush?" beam replied.
"Really? Owhhhh!! I taught you're gay like me!" ploy replied.
"You're gay? So you've been in the closet or your mom accepts you already. Well, I'm sorry my mom is homophobic."
Both of them were observing the visitors of the funeral vigil even if their parents were in the room.
The whole school had been invited to attend the vigil since it wasn't just a funeral but also a memorialization for a student who died in her 10 years of high school. It had been an odd mix of people that came to view the ceremony with condolences, respect, and sympathy all mixed into one, the entire school seemed to be aware that the victim wasn't actually dead. It was hard to believe that she really died. She was so vibrant and full of life, a lot like how you'd expect from her.
In fact, they didn't find out till later that day what had really killed her. They found out when she was looking for Sarawat ann the other day and Ann told them about the accident that had taken place that night.
Beam saw Ploy's toxic relatives that harassed them and mistreated their family and invalidate their religion as well as their beliefs. even the schoolmates and other students who believe in Aom. But they weren't allowed to speak ill of anyone because that would mean hurting someone else and Beam couldn't allow that. So their family had to pretend like everything was fine despite feeling very hurt and lost. Even though Beam was still grieving.
Ploy notices something as she observes her relatives, her mom was talking about the family reunion where her uncle just saw them holding a piece of paper and it was inherited from their father, she realized that it was very important for them because ploy knows that her father had to leave them to take care of her dying grandfather and to take care of her mother.
Ploy's ghost decided to visit her aunt's apartment to seek to avenge while she was very mad about her holding an inherent paper that was supposed to be for them.
Ploy walked into the kitchen where her Aunt was making some Buddhist rituals and just watched her in the distance, she felt as if this could be her avenge.
Ploy teleported so she could slam the door on her aunt's bedroom before her aunt could hide. Her aunt said.
"Why are you here?" ploy made a sharp look into her eyes, as she steps forward her aunt is stepping backward.
"I was looking for you at my funeral, I bet you know I will look for you that's why you didn't come. Don't worry! I'm not going to hurt you. Unless you have done something that could hurt yourself." Her aunt replied in a nervous tone. while crying in tears and fear.
"I didn't do anything!"
Ploy replied. "I wouldn't come here if you haven't analyzed your mistake."
