*DIANA*
I woke up with a throbbing head, I squinted as I tried to bear the pain that I was feeling in my head. I looked around to see the sun already seeping into my room from the window, I got up from my bed slowly because I was still feeling a bit dizzy but I was stable. I entered the bathroom to wash my face and try to recollect my bearings.
"Please, don't let him end up like his father…" The words played in my head again and again as I remembered the happenings of the previous night.
I rubbed my eyes together and I held my breath as I tried not to cringe at my inability to do anything about the situation.
