*DIANA*
I tried to keep my mind on work while I was at the office but it was hard to ignore the stares from my coworkers, they were so shocked to see me at my desk but without Julian. Nobody was bold enough to ask me about the strange disappearance of their boss but they didn't hide their expressions or the way they threw glances. I was expecting Charles to make his usual appearance by lunch time but he came a bit earlier because he knew the audacity that he could flex when Julian was not around.
"You are looking stunning as always, my beautiful queen Diana" he said with a small bow, his slick hair was annoying to see and his accent didn't help matters.
"What's with the outfit? Are you going golfing?" I couldn't hold my tongue when I saw his pink T-shirt that was tucked in some white, good boy shorts and the loafers were not helping my sarcastic humour.
