I didn't ask Julian any questions until we were close to the car but it was then I saw the lawyer coming down from a cab, I was about to tell him Julian's message but he walked past me as if I was not existent, I stood there mortified as the lawyer spoke to Julian without even noticing my presence, I waited for a while because their conversation was very long.
The lawyer waved at me as he went back to his cab, I eyed him rudely because it was what he deserved after snubbing me like that, the man shrugged at me before he entered the cab, I entered the driver's seat of Julian's car so that he wouldn't be able to drive off without talking to me.
"You are not fit to drive after what you had just experienced" I said to him and he rolled his eyes, he still looked neatly dressed, it was clear that he hadn't been manhandled.
"I am fine, it's not my first time firing a gun so I'm good" he tried to take the keys from me and I dodged his grasp.
