*DIANA*
The only time that Carl had seen me with Julian was when he was dropping me off from the pier and that day had gone bad, I was praying and hoping to my stars that Carl wouldn't attempt anything stupid.
I locked eyes with his glasses for a few seconds before he left the window, Julian turned around to see what I was looking at but the window was empty, it was just the emptiness of the street that was to be seen.
"What are you looking at? Is there somebody trying to plant a bomb again?" Julian turned around sharply and I laughed nervously.
"No, I thought that I saw somebody that I recognized but I was wrong" Julian shrugged at my reply and I gave a silent sigh of relief that Carl had left before Julian turned to see him, things would have gotten more awkward and I would have had to apologise to two people instead of one.
