When I got to my room, I didn't waste time before I changed into some comfortable clothes, I grabbed my phone and I called the tech office that Carl worked so that I could get his number, they sent it to me before I finished brushing my teeth, I prepared myself for the drama that was about to happen next.
"Hello, Carl speaking" I heard his voice and I found it hard to speak for a second or two.
"Carl, it's me… Diana" I said and a long awkward pause came after.
"What do you want?" the tone that he used previously had turned into an angry one.
"I want to explain what you had seen earlier this evening" I said to him in a pleading voice.
"Oh, you really acknowledge the fact that what I had seen was actually suspicious?" he asked in a sarcastic manner.
I knew that he was upset and he regularly acts this way whenever he is upset about something.
