I left Madame with a feeling of responsibility that was heavy on my shoulders, she had reminded me of a mission that I had forgotten about but it was one that I could not ignore, I had been giving my father money and whenever I gave him cash.
I would see the way he would smile and he would suddenly go out and come back either drunk or angry, since I had been working at the restaurant my father had been taking his cut from my salary whenever I got paid and now that I was being paid weekly it was something that needed more background check, I was planning to ask Lucia when I got back home the next weekend.
"Who is it?" I heard Felix ask from the other side of Julian's door, I opened the door without even saying anything.
