I entered the big building with a thumping heart and shaky legs on heels, it was mandatory for madam Othello that I should always wear heels whenever I am wearing a short gown she said that it was to appease the eyes of men and it had a good look on me, the nurse at the front desk gave me a rude look as soon as I greeted her, she eyed what I wore with disgust and I had to fight the urge not to insult her ugly face.
"What do you want?" she asked me rudely, I ignored her tone and I spoke to her with a forced politeness.
"I am here to see a patient that was rushed in last night, he is an Arab looking man with a lot of bruises" I said and the nurse looked at her clipboard that contained the numbers of the rooms in the hospital.
"Second floor, room 67" she returned to her computer without even waiting for me to say thanks, I left the bitter nurse and I went to the elevator.
