Li Die listened to Zhou Jingwei's calm and mild voice, easily associating it with the distinguished man she had seen at the opening ceremony.

A good-looking shell always made it easier for people to lower their guard. Li Die relaxed her vigilance, and her remaining unease dissipated.

Zhou Jingwei said it was no trouble, and as he hung up the phone, Cheng Weiyue, who had been drowsy, half-opened her eyes to look at him.

She looked at herself and smiled a bit foolishly.

Zhou Jingwei's hands were restrained on the edge of the seat, and as he leaned forward with downcast eyes, he asked her, "What's so funny?"

Cheng Weiyue didn't speak and continued to smile.

Zhou Jingwei then patiently maintained his bent posture, calmly and gently watching her.
