"Yo! Boss, your business is going to go beyond Beijing University and cover the whole of Jingcheng."
"Little girl, you sure have a sweet mouth! Hurry and eat while it's hot and delicious."
The owner and Li Die chatted casually while Cheng Weiyue gazed at the steamed dumplings in front of her, lost in a daze.
This morning, she seemed to have smelled this scent at Zhou Jingwei's house too.
"Weiyue, eat quickly," Li Die urged. "You didn't have breakfast, hurry up and eat."
Cheng Weiyue picked up her chopsticks and agreed.
Once they were mostly done eating, Li Die wiped her mouth with a napkin and asked Cheng Weiyue, "Weiyue, were you okay last night? I called you, and a man named... Zhou Jingwei answered."
Cheng Weiyue set down the half-eaten dumpling and hummed nonchalantly.
Li Die examined Cheng Weiyue's expression, "Are you unhappy today because of him?"
Cheng Weiyue shook her head, hesitated for a moment, and then told her what had happened that morning.
