She looked around, as she was sure Len and Luci were not able to cross the ditch. The forest looked completely different. It was denser and had strange kinds of trees that did not look like she had seen before.
The soil was rough and the roots were everywhere and the plants were much taller, completely covering the sky. It was even difficult to know if it was day or night looking at the sky.
It showed that she should not be here. It must be the part of deep forest which was prohibited. The smell of wet leaves and the touch of mud had welcomed her.
For some reason, strange thoughts of bitterness and defeat started to cloud her mind when she looked at the condition of the horse.
It was not to kill her but to realize that her life was in their hands and they could play with it anyway they wanted.
