Ranz was staring at the ceiling of his rented room while looking absent-minded.
"There's something wrong with that game," those words came out of his mouth in a mumble. If someone heard that, they would certainly say he sounded flat and lifeless.
Don't get him wrong. He wasn't depressed or anything. He was, however, overcome with great joy at this very moment.
It wasn't even a day and he had already reached level 30. He even gathered lots of drop items and also got lots of goodies.
The reason for such a dispirited tone in his voice was because he feared that all of this was just a dream! A very good dream that mostly had the opposite effect in reality. He feared that when he woke up in the morning, everything would come back to normal.
Ranz pinched both his face and stretched them.
"Aw!" He winced in pain. "Seems not a dream." He sighed in relief after that.
He stood up from the Calibrator Chair and carefully placed the Neural Helmet on the chair's lap.
