Ranz greeted back as he sat on the other end of the table where Vince asked him to sit. In front of him was Hamlight. To his right were Vince and Gil Titan, and to his left were Melly and Ophelle.
For others who had no idea of their history, his reply sounded natural.
However, for the two of them, Ranz and Melly, his reply might have sounded unnatural given their history. But, he wasn't the type of person who harbors resentment for the rest of his life for such trivial matters. Also, it has already been cleared, so he didn't want to dwell on that issue further.
If he hadn't seen her now, that event would have already disappeared from his memory without him realizing it.
Still, it surprised him that she remembered him.
Nonetheless, if possible, he would not associate with her. But, he would look suspicious to others if he suddenly turned up his heels and retreated.
