Sakume woke up, feeling a little de-energized. Maybe he's tired because of the lack of blood, or maybe from Ritoshi's hit. "Ugh…"
Ritoshi was leaning by the door with his arms crossed. "You're awake."
"Ritoshi? Where am I?"
"You are in my home."
"I see. Thanks for the hospitality." said Sakume. "What happened?"
"You seriously don't remember?" Ritoshi asked.
"Not particularly. Wait…I do remember walking into an alley, and then I saw you…and for some reason I attacked you and you knocked me out."
"I'd like to know why you were behaving that way. Were you on drugs?"
"No, I'm a detective, I never do drugs. The truth is that…" Sakume couldn't bring himself to say it. "I'm becoming a vampire."
Ritoshi was surprised. "What?"
"Remember our fight with Dracula? At some point he scratched me, and some of his blood entered into my blood. That's the only logical explanation I have for it. Recently, I have been losing control of myself. I have this desire for blood…and I can't help it. I don't know what's happening to me!"
Ritoshi touched Sakume on the shoulder. "Don't worry about it. I know a friend who can help with these kinds of things."
"A friend?"
"Correct. He is a shamanist and monk who deal with the supernatural. I am sure he has a cure for being a vampire. His name is Anji and he should be visiting this town soon."
Clunk. The monk put his staff on the ground hard as he stared at the stormy sky. The weather is usually bad in Mistle Town. A clear sky is as rare as gold in the ground. (I sense an evil presence in this place. It is definitely not that of a human.) he thought.
Anji came to Dracula's castle. After he confirmed that this place contained the evil presence, he proceeded to break in. He hopped onto the ledges and went to the window. The place was dark and lit only by candles. Anji came into the room from the window and looked around to make sure the coast is clear. He got up very quietly and observed the surroundings. This is a bedroom, apparently, and there's someone in the bed. He pulled the curtains out of the way, and the monk was shocked by what he found.
Faith was practically lying there naked and tied up by pink ribbons. She was tied up from her breasts all the way down to her ankles. They covered up her privates, but most of her skin is revealed. Her arms were tied behind her back and her panties was in her mouth.
She looked stared at him with her big, wet, helpless eyes. Anji thought he hit the jackpot. It's not everyday he sneaks into a castle and finds a naked woman tied up, and completely helpless. Suddenly, Dracula came into the room. Anji grabbed Faith and ran to the window and jumped out. Dracula ran to the window. "You will not escape!" he yelled.
Anji ran on the street without looking back. He did the best he could while carrying Faith in his arms. He broke down the door of a random abandoned house, went in and put Faith on the bed. He panted for breath, and then went to the window. "That vampire is not nearby, I guess we're safe for now."
Faith moaned unconsciously. "Mmff…"
Anji went over to her. Her body was irresistible and it was so inviting. He swallowed hard, as he was having an eyeful. If he was to do anything to her, this would be the perfect opportunity. On the other hand, he's a disciplined monk. He's never done something immoral like this, and if he does, it will break the code of honor. Anji took the panties out of her mouth. Faith woke up. "W-Who are you?"
"My name is Anji, and I am here to help you. I won't let that vampire hurt you."
Suddenly, the door came crashing down. Dracula was here, and he's pissed off. Faith gasped. Anji grabbed his staff and swings it forward, Dracula knocked it out of the way and kicked Anji, making him fly across the room, breaking the wall, and falling off the building.
A ninja jumped and caught Anji, and helped him to land safely. This ninja happened to be a woman. "Thank you, stranger."
"No problem. You're not from around here, are you?" Nayuki asked.
"No, I came from a temple in the west. A poor girl was kidnapped by a vampire, and I failed to rescue her." said Anji.
"That poor girl happens to be my friend Faith. I've been tailing Dracula for a while."
"I can't fight him alone, and neither can you. I say we join forces."
"That's fine by me. By the way, my name is Nayuki."
"And I am Anji. I am pleased to meet you."
"The pleasure's mine." Nayuki replied. And they shake hands, making their alliance official.
