La Ru heard the word and glanced around. She didn't understand what Vlad was talking about. She only saw Thyrious's pack and the rogues.
She glanced at her mate and gave him a questioning look. Thyrious looked down at her with a smile. "It seems as though Vlad and Anju are mates."
"How?"
He shrugged. "We will never know."
Due to the distraction Vlad's statement made, Hans was able to get away. La Rue didn't mention it, but relaxed and leaned against Thyrious, watching Vlad as he went up to Anju.
Thyrious did notice Hans and let him go. For now, he would stay away. Thyrious turned from Vlad and found Osric. "Let everyone out. Make sure they all get medical treatment no matter if they have wounds or not. I want everyone in the pack house tonight. I do not care for their excuses. The pack will stay close until further notice."
Osric nodded and hurried away.
Thyrious turned to Isobel now. "Go rest. I will make sure Embry finds you soon."
