Two weeks later...
Thyrious and La Rue were waiting with two other wolves of Sundown Pack for permission to seek shelter and food. La Rue had been doing good since they finally set out for home, but he could tell the day before was going beyond her limits. She needed proper rest, a proper meal. Even now, she was leaning on him to keep from falling over.
Samus got out his phone which buzzed and answered it. His conversation took only a few seconds before he nodded and hung up. When he looked to Thyrious, he said, "Go shift and dress. Vallin says to take her to the infirmary."
They did as they were told then, Thyrious lifted a sweating and pale La Rue into his arms and followed Samus into his pack territory. Ten minutes later, Samus pointed to a building. Thyrious said, "Please, thank your Alpha. If this were not dire, i would not have intruded."
Samus glanced at La Rue. "What happened to her?"
"That is a long story."
"Well, hopefully Tharja can help."
