"I take it, Kaizen is at the hut with Kit now," mused Verity.
Astonished. Zyra asked, "how did you know?"
"Don't forget this is a small, tight knit community and you walking into the base with a half naked stranger was bound to draw some unnecessary attention in your direction. In other words Asla saw you together and ran to tell the rest of us women as fast as her two feet could carry her," replied Verity.
Verity handed her a small shovel and Zyra accepted it.
Then she crouched down on one knee to scoop up the dirt, toss a few seeds in, replace the dirt and pat it down for good measure and then it was onto digging the next hole.
At first it could seem easy to the bystander but after a bit of repetition it got tiring real quick.
