In the meantime Aeryn had found herself inside the same dream she had the previous time. But this time there wasn't any fog and she could clearly see her surroundings.
She suddenly saw a wooden house with a handmade fence, a byre and an immense tree with oranges and next to it was located a tool for cultivation.
"This house…why does it remind me of something? She questioned herself.
Aeryn seemed a bit lost, she felt like she was submerging into an innumerable dream.
After a minute she outfaced two people getting out of this wooden house, these people were her only and beloved parents. Aeryn started running towards them and when she got closer she gave them a warm hug.
"I don't believe it, it seems so nonplussed but ludicrous at the same time" She murmured as she hugged them.
Her parents were confused at first but they kept hugging her tight.
"What's wrong? Why are you so surprised?" They asked her.
"So it was just a dream huh? It was just a crude dream, that's all." She said sobbing.
"You probably dreamed something bad, it's all okay now sweety, you are safe" Her father reassured her.
"Can we just stay like this for a little more? I missed you so much" She begged them.
"As you wish my love, we can stay like this as much as you want."
Subsequently they headed to the house in order to eat a proper meal, Aeryn seemed so confused and happy at the same time. She couldn't believe what was happening but all she knew was that she got together with her parents again.
"I also prepared your favourite meal sweety, fries, only for you" Her mother declared.
"I can't believe that I'm having a meal with you right now, I don't want to escape from this. I will stay here forever" Aeryn stated.
Βoth her parents looked at her with a worried stare.
"My love, don't say things like that, we are concerned about you. As we said it's all fine, you are with us and only us. We won't let you leave." Her mother appeased her.
"I'm sorry for worrying you, I will go to take a nap for a bit" Aeryn said and headed to her room.
When she got inside she got a feeling of nostalgia, she started touching the walls of the room and some handmade toys that her father made. A tear rolled from her left eye to her soft cheek. After that she layed on her wooden bed with a really convenient mattress and closed her eyes.
After some time had passed Aeryn slowly opened her eyes and looked around her to make sure that she wasn't in a dream.
"Oof, thank God that it wasn't a dream."
"Did you wake up?"
Aeryn turned her head to the direction of the voice and saw her dad standing in front of the door staring at her with a nostalgic look.
"Yeah, but why are you staring at me like that?"
"Is it me or you grew bigger? I guess you eat a lot, huh?"
"That's not true." Aeryn said blushing while throwing towards him a pillow.
"The food is ready. Come and eat, if you want." Aeryn's dad said laughing and left the room.
"Aah, that's the life I want to have. No killing, no monsters, no pain."
"Aeryn, are you coming? We will start without you?" Aeryn's mom's voice heard from the living room.
"Yes, I'm coming." Aeryn shouted.
Thus the days passed and Aeryn had found her Eutopia. She was with her parents every day, they were having such a great time that Aeryn had forgotten everything about what was happening in reality.
She thought that everything that happened to her was just an awful dream and that her life here was the reality.
But even if she was remembering the truth she would still choose to live here than go back to her miserable life.
And no one could blame her for that choice of hers. Who wouldn't want to be with their parents? Who would want to be in a reality that they both died so cruelly.
And as the days passed Aeryn became more and more ignorant of what was happening.
Nothing mattered more to her than being with her parents. They were the only ones that cared about her.
One day Aeryn asked "Can we go to a city? It has been so long since the last time I was in one."
Both of her parents looked at each other.
"We can't risk your well-being sweety, it's dangerous outside." Her mother answered.
"But aren't you both cultivators? What is there to be afraid of?"
"Let's just leave this matter for now and go inside the house before it starts raining." Her father said.
"Oh, okay."
This wasn't the first time her parents prevented her from leaving the house's grounds.
Something wasn't right here and Aeryn knew it but she chose to not give much attention. She didn't want to lose her parents again, even if that was a dream.
With the passage of time she forgot everything about that so-called 'dream' and accepted that this was her reality. Until she saw another dream.
She had gone to sleep after a tiring day and as usual she didn't wait for long before she fell asleep. But she wasn't fully asleep. For some reason no matter how much time passed she couldn't sleep like usual. Until she found herself in a dream without sleeping at all.
One moment she was in her room staring at the ceiling and the other she found herself outside the house looking at the starry night.
With that her sleepiness immediately disappeared. She got up and looked to her left only to see the house she was inside just a moment ago being on fire.
She tossed the blanket aside and started running towards the house.
She got inside and started looking for her parents everywhere in the house.
She found her dad being hit by a huge piece of wood that had fallen from the ceiling making him fall unconscious. But because he couldn't move he had started to get burnt by the fire.
"N-no, no…" Aeryn murmured.
"Aeryn! What's out!" She heard her mother's voice saying as she pushed her back in order to not get hit by a burning pillar.
But this resulted in her mother being trapped inside the house and getting choked by the fumes.
"No… Mum…" Aeryn whispered.
Suddenly the whole house shook and another wooden pillar started falling towards Aeryn. She made a move to block it with her arms while shouting "Noo!" at the same time.
And just before the pillar hit her she found herself in the room she was before.
"What happened? Are you okay?" Her dad asked, rushing inside the room.
"I… You're alive… The house is okay… Nothing has caught fire…"
"Aeryn what are you saying? Are you okay?"
"I… I don't know…"
