Someone I had turned a blind eye to interfered before I could hit Bella and he separated us, took Bella into his arms and shoved me aside.
Wow great. I landed on the floor due to his hard shove.
"You never listen, do you? I told you to meet me at home but you didn't listen. You or he could have hurt you before I arrived, Bell."
The brown-haired guy said, ranting and checking Bella for any sign of injury. Bella momentarily forgot about me and stared at the guy affectionately.
"How did you get here Carl?"
Bella's voice took another tune. I have never seen her talk affectionately to anyone and even my dad doesn't get to hear her speak in such a manner. I laughed. The sight was amusing because it was unexpected and hilarious. The sound of my laughter broke their trance and Bella went crazy again.
"Insolent asshole."
