Mrs. Lucinda walks out of the sitting room, her face had a mighty frown.
The air around me grew cold.
Yeah! I'm good at pretending, but I don't think I can keep it up in front of Mrs. Lucinda for long.
Lying to her makes me sick. 'Gush! 'What the hell have I gotten myself into?' I ask myself.
"Are you all right?" Ace asked, drawing my attention to him.
"Yeah… Yeah! I'm fine." I stutter, which is completely false.
He exhales loudly before turning his wheelchair around and heading upstairs. "Don't we need to talk about something?" I asked because I'm expecting him to explain a few things to me.
"Go make something nice. The entire family will arrive soon." He uttered before continuing to roll his wheelchair.
"Prepare something nice? Okay, I'm not your cook." I declare, because I am now agitated.
"My credit card is on the table. You can order takeout for my entire family." Ace stated coldly.
