"Hahahaha! Natasha, what the heck?" Ace declares, laughing uncontrollably.
"I'm being sincere here." I mumble before winking at him. "Gush! Being with you is always a pleasure, and how on earth did you end up witnessing such a hilarious and bizarre encounter?" Ace asked, his brow furrowed.
"Perhaps it's because I get to observe things around me and I'm not just relying on my laptop." I mumble.
"Is that because you don't have a laptop?" Ace inquired, causing me to chuckle.
He's something else. "Okay, nice indirect insults." I declare, pretending to appreciate what he just said.
He laughed out loud before wrapping his hands around my waist. "Can I ask you a question?" I said this while staring deeply into Ace's beautiful hazel eyes.
"Sure! What are you planning to ask?" Ace utters, and I can tell he's listening intently.
I exhale, summoning the entire courage left in me. "What is my primary role?" I finally declare.
