Chapter 2 - Seperated

October 3, 1987, the first child of the Williams family, Robert, was born and raised in the town of Rolly. He was the first of three siblings, the other two born 7 years later.

As a child, he was very outgoing, helping others, and making friends, and was always hanging out with those friends all night. Of course, this got him in trouble with his parents. Eighty percent of the time he was grounded and the rest of the time he was outside till one in the morning when he was supposed to be asleep or at home learning reading, writing, and math.

This came with problems, such as sleeping during lessons and having a sub-par education. Schools were expensive and cost a vast amount of money to attend for 12 years straight. The public schools were few and far apart. Not close enough for the Williams household to have Robert attend.

Robert also experienced problems with some of the older kids as a younger one himself. Robert always told his friends that they'd take revenge on the bullies once they were great fighters, but they never had any problems running away from the fight. Robert was without a doubt the most athletic and fastest runner in the town. Overall life was peaceful and quiet until Rolly was attacked.

September 2, 1999, Robert and his friend Stanley were hanging out by the lakeside on Sunday like they do every weekend. On the beautiful bright sunny afternoon Trees are regrowing their leaves, flowers blooming to life, and the lake water was a magnificent bright blue color.

Robert and Stanley basked in the sunlight in all of its beauty from dawn to dusk. Saturdays, they'd be with their friend, Agatha, but she couldn't join them on Sundays because she was at the church for Sunday school.

Agatha was a cute young woman, she usually wore an outfit suited for a priest. Her hazel eyes could get lost forever. Her hair was long and blond. She was tall for her age. She loved taking care of people and comforting them when they were down. Agatha wanted to grow up to be a nurse, but similar to everyone in this town schooling itself was found as a tribunal matter. For the time being Agatha was involved in the church and caring for young children who became orphans at birth.

Stanley, on the other hand, was a social butterfly, much like Robert, unlike Robert he completely rejected religion with a passion, but still believed in folklore.

Every Sunday he would always say, "I don't get Agatha. How could you believe in that religious mess? I don't know these people, Jesus or Abraham or whatever, but they sound like crackheads. Whenever I take over this dinky town, religious practices shall be no more."

Robert always laughed, "As if you could get rid of religion; the people of Rolly rely on it way too much. You don't need to take it that far anyway."

In annoyance, Stanley said, "Damn it, you're right, at least there's a chance of me being a leader for my home, our ho… do you hear that."

Stanley and Robert heard many terrifying voices coming from the direction of Rolly.

"Robert we gotta go, we must make sure our families and everyone else are safe. Agatha needs to be safe," Stanley said.

"But, but, but, oh screw it. My sisters are in trouble: Susan and Tyra. Mom and dad too." Robert said quite concerned.

Robert and Stanley ran in the direction of the screams of terror. It was hard to see at night; the stars and moon were their only light sources. Facade, one of the vampires scouting the area for humans ready to kill them at the moment, attack Robert and Stanley causing them to get separated.

"STANLEY WHERE ARE YOU," Robert called out.

Stanley called out, "I'M OK. Are you…!?"

Robert was being chased down. "Get away from me you demon."

The vampire scowled, "You're so annoying, I despise humans with my entire being. I don't have time for all of this." It sped up to catch up with Robert.

"Calling me annoying huh? Speak for yourself; if you weren't chasing me, I wouldn't have to piss you off. Do us both a favor and leave me alone." Robert said steadily running out of breath.

After two minutes of nonstop running the vampire gave up. "II give, your too fast and too annoying, I'm going home."

"That's pitiful, I had to run up the hill, downhill, and through trees, while I, can barely see." The Vampire ignored Robert and let him be.

Robert thought to himself, "Finally, it's over I've never felt so out of breath, but I need to get back home… wait has the moon always been red, or am I going mad." Suddenly, Robert's vision became blurry, then he passed out.

Stanley made it back to Rolly to help out there. He thought to himself, "I hope Robert will be ok, I worry that the thing is going to suck him dry. What if he gets murdered, no, he won't die. Robert is tough he will live. If all goes wrong, he'll just run away like we always do, one day I'll see him."

"Well last time you saw him he wasn't dead at least, right," Mr. Williams asked as soon as he saw Stanley.

"We had gotten separated, but he is still alive," Stanley said to help convince himself.

Mr. Williams held his head down and began praying to god. When the rest of the Williams saw that, they began to pray with him.
