Hi, every one it's your favourite author Funkiller ✧\(>o<)ノ✧

Did you like my story? Hehe.

I'm surprised by how much it changed from the original plot. You see, I wrote this book when I was in my first year of high school.

It is a story about love, music, fate and darkness.

The original length of chapters was supposed to be ≈ 70 but I had to increase it to meet Webnovel standards and I still failed. Stretching the plot any further would have ruined the book.

It wasn't easy adding more scenes either. Instead, I focused on developing the side characters more so that the readers would understand why they act the way they do.

In the original story, Seth and Melody never went on their honeymoon, Melody gave up her dream to sing and focused solely on becoming the crown princess and Hostyn [Horace and Kristyn's ship] didn't exist.

Kristyn was just one of Melody's roommates, the critical one and she only had like two scenes in the entire book. You could just imagine, the story revolved mainly around the main characters.

Sage was depicted as perfect to the very end and Skipper but just a toxic personality all through, no Jaxson, no experiments. The pindite did exist but after freeing Melanie they never made use of it again.

Power amplifiers weren't a thing and I didn't really depict Luke as such a smart and crafty character. He was more of a spineless fool with a lecherous obsession for his ex.

Funny and annoying side characters like Chandler, Monique and a whole others didn't exist and most certainly no one came back to life after dying.

So you can see how much the story changed. I had to be more specific about Melody's character development and explain how she was able to grow constructively because she was surrounded by so many people that care so much about her. She was able to endure many things because she was never alone.

The beginning looks anticlimactic and their first kiss was boring because I was still following the original story's plotline at the time. I wasn't really thinking of changing anything until I started to ponder about the length.

You may notice some areas with advanced writing while some others are plain, it's proof that I've improved a lot from when I wrote this years ago. I'm still extensively editing so I'll try to make it as stable as possible.

Thank you, everyone, for your love and support and most of all for checking out my book ლ(^o^ლ), I had a few loyal readers that really inspired me to keep writing even though I wasn't seeing any improvements in my stats.

Overall, I'm thankful and I'm glad I've completed one project.

You haven't seen all of me yet, though. I'll be releasing a few spin-off chapters to round up the book, you can call them the epilogue of some of the major supporting characters and even a couple that you totally forgot about.

Guess who they are?

You can guess in the comments section!!

The journey is just beginning, check out the sequel of the book [Like blood from a frozen heart] It's Luke and Kika's love story and I promise that you would not be disappointed.
