Astra and Lumi started to walk around a depressing looking city.
Everyone looked dead even the children were depressed looking.
Astra writes all about this place in her diary and bumped into somebody.
"oh uh sorry about that" she looked up and saw a handsome looking prince with blonde hair and blue eyes.
the prince turned to her.
"It's no problem," the prince smiled and walked away.
'What's someone like him doing in a depressing place like this?' Astra thought to herself red as a tomato.
"I should probably look for somewhere to stay for a while." Astra looked around the village and saw an inn nearby.
Astra walked in and booked a room.
'why does everyone look so depressed.'
Astra thought to herself.
as she got into her new room for a while and went to bed. eventually sleeping right there
[5 hours later]
It was midnight and Astra woke up from her long nap.
She looked through the window to see the time and saw a man walking there with a smile on his face.
"at least someone's normal-" she said to herself
but she noticed something moving besides the man she was staring at.
this thing attacked the man holding him down and started sucking the soul out of his body.
it had huge teeth and its body was bigger than any average sized golem.
The body of the man seemed dead and depressed and then the monster from before ran away into the darkness.
Astra covered her mouth as she witnessed the horror that just took place.
She ran back to her bed and started packing her things.
lumi just sat there giving a judgemental stare.
"don't look at me like that!" astra said voice still cracking under fear.
"We gotta get out of here before our soul gets stolen." She kept on trying to pack her things and then picked up lumi to go but she refused to move.
"come on dont be like that" astra pleaded
"let's just go" astra begged and begged for lumi to come along.
but she didn't budge.
"please please please" astra is practically on his knees begging a fox to leave her room.
but lumi moved to behind astra and started pushing her to the door.
"fine-" astra dropped the bag and started to walk through the door to face the monster thing.
"stupid monsters, stupid village , stupid depression" she muttered to herself as she walks out of the village to follow that monster.
Eventually she reached a forest looking for the monster. She trembled and walked slowly through the forest.
as she walked on she heard something move in the grass.
"Eep!" Astra squealed hearing the sound.
later calming down.
"Come on Astra, get yourself together." she said as she walked on.
she moved the Bush in front of her and saw a chest there and a screaming noise.
"I bet that chest got the souls in them" she said as she ran to the chest to quickly open it.
but the chest isn't even budging
she started to hear growling and footsteps behind her.
"oh crap oh crap!" She started to tug on the chest but it still wasn't moving. She was there long enough that the beast caught up to her and its mouth widened to take her soul.
quickly she turned around and blasted the beast with water, the beast stepped back and roared at astra who began to run away from the beast
quickly the beast started to chase her and break down a lot of trees to reach her.
"get away from me!!'' She started to shoot water in the beast's direction again but it didn't work as well as she'd hoped.
"oh come on!'' Astra ran faster and used a bit of lightning magic to quickly run away eventually losing sight of the beast.
"finally" astra said out of breath she wiped the sweat off of her face.
"now what.. I still have to release the souls in the box- '' astra sat down on the ground contemplating on what to do next, still getting shivers every time she heard the roars of the beast.
She soon just covered her ears and just buried her head in between her legs regretting ever chasing lumi here, regretting ever leaving the safety of her village and regretting leaving home and parents to live on her own in the first place.
The roars got closer but she didn't hear it. She was too busy listening to the regrets filling her head as tears rolled down her eyes.
"why...." "why did I come here" astra began to cry
"HEY!!" a voice reached out to astra she looked up to see a guy with black hair and red eyes holding a sword.
"Do you want to die, don't you hear the beast coming this way??"
Astra ignores him and puts her head back down.
The guy quickly picked up Astra and ran with her and only stopped when they couldn't hear the roars any more.
"hey... what's your name" the guy asked
"astra ..." Astra kept her head down."You should've left me there."
"maybe I should have...but .. I didn't because I dont think someone should die like that to a monster." the guy explained
"But imma go back to defeat this thing once and for all so if you're gonna cry about being here just leave."
The guy ran back into the forest.
to try and fight the beast.
[2 hours later]
astra raised her head and looked into the forest
"I hope he's ok" astra said to herself
She got up from the ground and looked into the forest.
[meanwhile]
the boy walked into the forest looking around
because the place was too quiet.
"hmm...the place seemed further than I thought" the guy kept looking.
The roars started again and they got closer and closer.
"oh ..he's here" the boy smiles "this is gonna be fun."
the monster roared again
"Come on, monster, bring it on!!"
