There is no final request that Devan can convey. He just wanted to see Agatha always happy and able to continue her better life.
The executioner was ready with a sword in his hand. He approached Devan whose body was now lying down. His head had been pinched by a log so that it would be easier for the executioner to cut off Devan's head.
Devan's eyes were also covered with a black cloth so he could not see the process of his death. In fact, Devan has resigned himself to his fate, for him life would feel empty if there was no Agatha by his side. It would be better if he died, than seeing Agatha suffer. At least that's what Devan thinks now.
However, it's different with Agatha. When the distance between the blades was only a few centimeters, that's when Agatha shouted.
"Stop it!"
His loud, powerful voice could be heard by everyone present. Including Executioner and Devan.
"Agatha!" Devan mumbled, he was looking for where Agatha was standing now because his blindfolded eyes made it difficult for Devan to see Agatha's whereabouts.
"Your Honour!"
The executioner immediately widened his eyes, not because of Agatha's presence alone, but the beautiful girl who came with her father, the ruler of the kingdom of Miracle.
Everyone including the Executioner immediately bowed their bodies in a prostrate position. They did this because of the existence of the Miracle King.
Agatha stared quietly at someone who was on the verge of Death. If he had come any longer, then maybe Devan would not have survived.
Agatha wanted to run to Devan, free the man she loved, then hugged him tightly. However, his steps had to stop when his father grabbed his hand. Agatha couldn't do anything. He restrained himself from running to Devan.
The middle-aged man with the long white beard started to walk. There wasn't a single person there who dared to raise their head and stare into her eyes.
The middle-aged man walked over to Devan, whose eyes were currently closed, so he didn't know the King was coming. Agatha could only sigh from time to time. He wanted to meet Devan and hug him. However, he had promised his father not to see Devan again.
The middle-aged man raised his hand, Agatha immediately reacted. "No, kill him!" shouted from a distance.
The middle-aged man looked at the princess, he nodded his head as a sign that he would not break the promise that had been mutually agreed upon.
The bald-headed man who was acting as the executioner was unable to lift his head. Even though he wanted to see how the King punished Devan, he couldn't help but look directly at the King's eyes.
Agatha breathed a sigh of relief, she was very worried about how her father would punish Devan. However, our anxiety has disappeared because the father kept his promise.
The ruler opened Devan's blindfold, showing himself in front of the young man. Suddenly Devan's eyes widened, he didn't know beforehand that the Miracle King was also present in this place.
Even though he was in a limp state and he was short of breath, Devan could still clearly identify the King of the Miracle kingdom. Devan also continued to show his respect in front of his lover's father.
The middle-aged man let go of all the chains that bound Devan, with one wave of his hand. He also drained a little energy into Devan's body, so that the young man could recover.
Devan slowly started to stand up. However, because the one in front of him now was the Miracle King, Devan immediately prostrated himself on the floor.
The king took a deep breath, closing his eyes. He felt like he wanted to kill the young man who was currently in front of him because he had dared to love his daughter.
However, for the sake of Agatha's happiness and the promise that had made her, she had to let Devan live, as Agatha wanted.
"Get up!" said the middle-aged man.
Devan immediately followed the order. He slowly started to stand up, although his body had not yet regained its balance. Devan tried to stay upright, but kept his head down.
"Get out of this kingdom and if necessary leave this planet. Your presence here is no longer necessary. You are a disgrace to this Kingdom!" exclaimed the middle-aged man with a ragged breath.
Devan couldn't stop himself from rolling his eyes and looking directly at the King. Meanwhile, Agatha tried not to shed a tear, no matter how hard it was. However, he must be strong.
"Get out of the kingdom before the good name of Miracle's work becomes bad in the eyes of other leaders," said the King. He didn't even look at Devan one bit.
Agatha who was listening from a distance could only close her eyes while holding back the clear grains that wanted to burst out. His lips were unable to speak. As a daughter she can't do anything and as a lover she can only be silent.
Meanwhile Devan tried to organize his heart. He looked at Agatha who was standing with her back to him. Devan knows right now his love is trying not to cry and he is doing the same thing.
Devan took a deep breath, trying to strengthen his fragile heart. Not only was it fragile, but it had been shattered into pieces. He who aspires to become a great knight and can protect his homeland, must end up like this, not as a knight but as a disgrace to the Kingdom.
"If this, Your Majesty wants, then I will leave the kingdom and planet Airraksa," said Devan, while glancing at Agatha who was still standing with her back to him.
"I'm ready to leave this kingdom and I'll never show myself again on this planet," he insisted as he held back the shards that were trying to break through.
Agatha turned around. He looked at Devan who was lowering his head while breathing slowly. Agatha could feel the tightness that currently held high in Devan's heart. If he had more abilities, then he would have fled with Devan.
However, what can Agatha do? He can only be silent and maybe let Devan go from this job, there won't even be a Devan on this planet anymore.
"May I make one request of you, Your Majesty?" Dean asked in a low voice.
The middle-aged man with a white beard nodded, "Quickly say it, what is your request?"
Devan glanced at Agatha for a moment, before finally dropping his gaze on the King. "I just want Her Highness Princess Agatha to always be happy. Don't blame her let alone punish her because all of this is my fault."
The middle-aged man closed his eyes. There was a very intense anger churning in his heart. However, he was as hard as he could to contain those emotions.
