And there was no other beast populations that could compete or compare to the beasts of the water tribe in this regard.
The beasts of the water tribes were also extremely strong and wielded powerful magic, constantly enriched by the energy of the Deep, within which they had taken up territory.
While there had been many successes of focusers taming different beasts all over the empire, in the entire history of the Kalavan Deep, there had only ever been a handful of successful taming of beasts from the water tribe.
