Chantria sat in silence, watching Dewei pace agitatedly all about the receiving room.
Dewei had arrived not long after Gemi had sent a message and now he held the scroll Chantria had been given tightly in his hand, a look of displeasure on his face.
"I knew it!" Dewei exclaimed in rage.
"The moment the opportunity is presented, how could the wolves miss the opportunity to pounce?" Dewei asked aloud to no one in particular.
It was still quite early in the day and it was just Dewei, Chantria and an equally agitated Gemi in the hall.
It was only that Gemi's agitation leaned to the more anxious side of the scale, rather than raging a storm like Dewei was doing.
Chantria herself was still yet to understand why Dewei's reaction was so adverse to the scroll the third hall had sent.
