Saint Thoron's agitated opening words set the pace for the council in the direction that was completely contrary to what Chantria needed.
"My words exactly. Nothing has changed, a unanimous decision of the council needs no further deliberation." Saint Emerys drawled, waving a hand in a dismissive gesture.
And just like that, Chantria's hope of a calm start went right out of the window. An agitated atmosphere swiftly spread and most of the council expressed their agreement to Saint Thoron's stance.
'Naturally, he should be drowned as agreed.'
'Indeed, there is no further cause to deliberate.'
Quiet murmurs spread through the council.
Chantria quietly watched the council murmur their agreement for a moment before she interrupted.
