'Saint Chantria's escapades. It has nothing to do with me.' Chantria quickly made a mental correction.

But the mere thought of encountering a man she had supposedly been intimate with outside her sworn bonds had Chantria wary of how this day would play out.

"Chan? Are you alright?" Dewei asked in concern at the sudden change in Chantria's countenance.

"I...well... the master of this teahouse, what is he to me exactly? Gemi said something... disturbing." Chantria confessed.

Gemi had said all that needed to be said, but Chantria wanted a second opinion. Dewei was after all Chantria's closest family.

Chantria anticipated the judgmental stare or disappointed look to come, she waited and waited but there was no such thing.

Dewei did not react immediately to Chantria's question, he only stared at her in silence for a short moment.
