Synopsis
"Please! You can kill me but! Let me give birth to mine and Tyrions child! I beg of you Lord Tywin! The child growing in my belly is innocent!" The woman was truly in love with the dwarf. Tyrion staggered backward in shock as the woman fell with tears in her eyes about to be hung. Jaime cut the rope swiftly as he didn't want to baby to die. Jaime was yelled at and disciplined by his father. The woman died giving birth to Tyrion's child. The child was denied the name Lannister and was discarded, she grew up in the slums of Lannis Port. Tyrion was forbidden from seeing her which made his hatred for his father fester even more. During the war with the Grey Joys, she disguised herself as a man and made a name for herself she gained the title of Lighting Blade for obvious reasons and when Robert Baratheon first of his name saw her face he laughed, he extended a hand asking for her to join the Kingsguard and she said that she was just a slum rat and not a knight and so Robert knighted her then and there and she became a Kingsguard unknowing of her true lineage and was always creeped out that the Kingslayer treated her so kindly. The King and the Mountain got into a terrible argument resulting in an honor duel and Ser Mordred Pendragon fought on behalf of the King and killed the Mountain which made Dorne an ally of hers and her alone, she completely overpowered Gregor Clegan be it in a contest of physical strength, skill with the sword or speed or stamina, she dominated the fight and was like a cat playing with a mouse. She became powerful enough that she needed no armor and instead wore a fashionable suit she created and her sword Clarent was always strapped to her back in a crimson sheath, she is the only Kingsguard allowed to wear no armor but instead the King emblem was sewn into the back of her suit. Tywin felt regret for the third time in his life. She would have been a powerful weapon of his that was greater than even the Mountain. His first regret was impregnating Joanna which killed her, his second regret was letting Tyrion live and now his third was discarding Mordred. "Your Grace, the hand has died from heart failure." Mordred took out her sword put the tip of the sword on the ground and knelt to Robert, the King cried for the first time in a long time, Mordred comforted the King and he later fell asleep in her arms as she carried him to bed and gently covered him with the blanket and watched over him all night and morning, Never once did Robert allow her to let go of his hand, the vulnerable Warrior King held her hand tightly until the morning sun showed. And then the time came when he decided to make Nedd Stark the new hand of the King.

Chapter 1 - Introducing Mordred

"I do so hate it when work keeps us apart," Mordred said huskily as she gave a deep passionate kiss to her lover Tyene Sand in front of Cersei, Robert, and everyone without giving two fucks of their opinion.

"It does make the reunions all the sweeter my love." Tyene broke the kiss with a satisfied smile as she held Mordred's hip.

Cersei scoffed with a look of disgust while Tyrion gave his older sister the stink eye. Tyrion didn't care if his secret daughter was wed to a woman, all he wanted was for her to be happy.

Mordred is the only one in the Kingsguard allowed to wed due to her winning the duel against the Mountain. She asked for that to be her reward, and Robert allowed it. Gay relationships aren't the norm anywhere except in Dorne. Robert didn't care, and instead of a look of disgust, he delighted in the sight before him as he greedily feasted his eyes on the sensual sight.

"Ahem, perhaps we should get back to the matter of the new hand?" Baelish said with a disgusted face as he too was homophobic as was the norm in most of Westeros.

"Yes Dear" Mordred nodded in mock seriousness before making a silly face, and Robert gave his signature boisterous laugh. Tyrion and Jaime merely smiled, and even Cersei could be honest and give a small laugh before stopping to scowl.

"Back on topic. Who will be the new hand of the king?" Baelish's facial muscles twitched at the jesting jabber and spoke to Robert.

Jesting Jabber is Mordred's title among nobility but her title of Lightning Blade is largely ignored due to her jokes that get underneath people's skin or make them laugh themselves to the ground. It makes them forget just how deadly the ability to control lightning is and it doesn't help that they have never really seen her on the battlefield instead have seen her joke during the King's usual parties he throws.

"I know who, the last man I can trust in this world." Robert grinned.

"Ned." Mordred lifted an eyebrow and Robert's grin widened even further.

"Aye! An honorable man, a better one than me. Sometimes I wonder how we ever became friends. It's time to get ready to head north!" Robert sighed but then smiled.

"We're not the ones that should get ready My King. Have you seen your belly? The poor horse will break down." Mordred joked and Robert laughed aloud as it echoed in the council chambers.

"You little shit! Is that how you speak to your King!?" Robert was still smiling.

"Pretty much, yeah" Mordred grinned and Robert started wheezing between laughs.

"I'll lock you in the dungeons." Robert joked.

"You'd have to catch me first. And between the two of us, I believe I hold the advantage of speed." Mordred patted her six-pack and flexed her biceps playfully making the King laugh again.

"It's cold! I want to be inside the carriage!" Joffrey whined the whole way from the entrance to the North and up to now.

"Bah! Toughen up you're a Baratheon! Start acting like it! Look at Ser Mordred! A thin suit and no fur cloak! Be more like her instead of hiding behind your mother's dress!" Robert loudly admonished his 'son' making Joffrey have a humiliated and hurt look.

"I'm not the norm your grace. I swam in the ice-cold winter waters to build up a resistance to the cold." Mordred gave a small smile and a shrug.

"HA! Your one sturdy shite!" Robert laughed and Mordred joined in the laughter.

"If you want Prince Joffrey to undergo the same training you'd have to speak with his mother. You got the short end of the stick with that marriage." Mordred gave a mirthless laugh when she poked at his marriage with a knife.

"Aye..." Robert gave a pained expression as he remembered his one true love.

"We're here, you can pay your respects you know? No need to care about the Queen's feelings on the matter anyway." Mordred helped her King down from the horse.

"Indeed, I will do so." Robert narrowed his eyes.

"The horse didn't break down. It looks winded though HAHAHA!" Mordred gave Robert a shit-eating grin and the King laughed aloud.

"You little shit!" Robert slapped her shoulder good-naturedly.

After Robert laughed he stood in front of Ned.

"You got fat," Robert said in a mock-serious voice with a fake frown before they laughed together and gave each other a manly hug.

"I like him already." Mordred grinned.

"Ah, let me introduce you to my young friend. This is Mordred Pendragon a Knight and Kingsguard in my service. Don't let her looks fool you she is no Lannister. I'd trust her with my life Ned, If ever you be in trouble she will do everything she can to help you." Robert grinned at first and then spoke with a serious voice when he said he'd trust Mordred with his life.

"Of course, any friend of Robert's is a friend of mine. It's a pleasure to meet you, Lord Stark. I've heard much about you." Mordred held out her hand for a shake and Ned shook it.

"All good things I hope, I don't think I've ever heard Robert praise someone so highly. A Pleasure Ser Mordred." Ned smiled and shook the Knight's hand.

Robert went to greet Ned's family.

"Caaaat. What have we here? You must be Robb. My... You're a pretty one. Your name is?" Robert stopped at a little girl.

"Arya." She looked him straight in the eye. Robert gave a small nod and moved on to the last of the family.

"Oh, show us your muscles. Heh heh, You'll be a soldier!" Robert frowned with a bit of disgust in his expression as Cersei arrogantly played the queen with that damn expression on her face, the expression Robert truly hated.

"Take me to the crypt I wish to pay my respects," Robert said in a demanding tone.

"You've been riding for months my love, surely the dead can wait," Cersei said with a sour look. Robert wanted to spit on her face but then decided to ignore her.

"Ned," Robert walked away. Ned bowed to Cersei and then followed after Robert.

"This is going to be a long day..." Mordred said and Cersei wanted to slap Mordred for this insult as Cersei knew what Mordred meant but Mordred left an afterimage in her place and was already gone.

"Freak," Cersei hissed.
