Mara smiled satisfactorily as Lancelot announced their engagement, she had pressurized him the previous week until he proposed to her, she then forced him to throw a mini engagement party so everyone could know afterwards they would get married and she would pretend her impregnated her.
Anna and the rest were shocked by this revelation, Damien was most hurt seeing the all hopes of Anna being happy had been shattered, Lancelot went over to Mara and held her hands, they showed off their matching rings and he gently kissed her, the crowd applauded.
Lancelot thanked them all and went over to his friends as they congratulated him, Mara walked majestically to where Anna and the rest were standing and paused.
