Her one constant is Roma, bold, beautiful, and wild in a way that doesn’t ask for permission. Roma is everything Roland isn’t and everything she quietly longs for: freedom, confidence, control. They’ve known each other since childhood, and over the years, their friendship has morphed into something deeper, stranger, and more difficult to define.
Set mostly within the green-walled bedroom that has become their shared world, the novel follows a series of encounters between the two girls as they navigate adulthood, emotional entanglement, and the thin line between friendship and obsession.
