Her eyes suddenly went wide. "Shit. I forgot my phone was switched off."
I gave her a small smile. "Yeah. I noticed that. I had to contact you through Facebook."
She bit her lip. "She is probably super mad at me right now."
"I told her to give you some space, but she is probably on her way here." I raised up my phone, I texted her as soon as you replied."
"What would you have done if I hadn't?"
I shrugged. "You would have seen me here anyways." She dropped her head and took a sudden interest in her spiderman socks, watching them instead of me. "I thought you might be hungry."
She shook her head. "I don't feel like eating anything right now."
"Not even the chocolate cake from Flora's?" I said raising the bag. Her stomach rumbled at that moment and I tried to hide my smile as her cheeks flushed.
"Okay, maybe I do," she mumbled. "Come in." she pulled the door wide open, permitting me to enter.
