Poppy's Pov
A field trip with the seniors meant spending more time with Liam. I couldn't stop the grin that was taking over my face
"There she goes again," I heard Sarah mutter and I slapped her hand playfully.
Since there was a game tonight, the football team was meeting with the coach after the rally. Which meant no Liam. Since Dan, Colin and Sarah were going to a party, I asked Lucy to come to the game with me. She said she wanted to, but she had a closing shift at the bakery and would be having dinner with her grandparents afterward. That meant that I would be going alone. Maybe I could bring a book or something to keep me entertained. If I sat at the back of the bleachers, no one would notice right?

When I got to school later that evening, the bleachers were completely full. I finally found a spot at the back that was quiet. The cheerleaders were dancing in the field and I wasn't really interested in their routine so I brought out my book.
