I hurriedly climb down the rope, fearing that Drill might cut it. And from the things and actions he showed me, he's definitely thinking about it 100 percent.
I scurried down below from where the light was shining, and I could finally see a small hole barely enough to fit an adult male.
I squeezed in easily due to my small frame and sure enough, it was the same hall from where I had come from. Since I'm by myself now, I should take extra caution and stick to the plan. But before I do that, I need to sort out the problem upstairs.
In my space pouch, were some explosives I had bought from my shopping earlier. I planned on using this on spots where I had to break in to but I had to use one now to avoid Drill's suspicions.
I grab one and placed it near the hole where I had dropped down. I didn't place it directly as I didn't want it to close down, it might be my only escape from here considering the situation of the gates whether they're flocked with monsters or not.
I then ran into a pillar going all the way to the ceiling making it menacingly tall. There were multiple others going across the hallway, which reminds me of greek architecture. I mean the beasts strolling in this place could be found in greek mythology after all.
Anyways, I went and hid in the pillar, holding my detonator in hand.
" AHHHHHHHH! " I screamed at the top of my lungs, before hitting the button causing the loud reverb of the explosion to pass through the hallway, and hopefully up top too.
I don't know if that sold them completely, but I just decided to move on forward hoping that it bought me enough time at least. The hallway was relatively bright, I could not see any lamps whatsoever, but light still covered the entire area.
There were increments and drawings of people, with robes on. There also seem to be spartan and what looked like a centaur in the midst of these drawings.
I kept walking as I admired the drawings on the wall, keeping myself to the side hidden behind the pillars to minimize my presence.
* Thud * * Thud *
I suddenly hear shaking and grumbling. I hear a loud thump, then the entirety of the hall suddenly shakes.
" Oh no... " I mutter, it seems like the explosion from earlier attracted the beast.
* Thud * The loud stomping on the ground was getting closer and closer. I hid behind a pillar not even taking a peek behind him. All I could hear was the loud stomping on the ground and the sudden shake that followed it.

The monster had arrived exactly behind me.
* Thud *
Thankfully he kept on going from where I was in which I could finally take a peek safely. There all I saw was a massive foot, resting on the ground.

The Grand beast was non-only than the Grand Beast, Giant.

This guy was absolutely ginormous. He was probably as tall as the huge door we just opened earlier. His body was incredibly huge and buff, with a hunchback and long hair, he looked like a rabid man from the stone age. He was only wearing a huge parchment of fabric covering his bottom area, revealing the toned, and bulging muscles in his torso.
I didn't want to stay any longer, so I started walking away from him. Taking my time, to make sure I don't make any noise. When the sounds of the stomps were faint, I started running to wherever the hell I was heading. I reached the end of the hall as it started splitting into two ways.
...
Pant...
Uh fuck, this body was too weak. I'm gonna have to do some Ki training after I'm done with this.
As I relax and calm down from that interaction earlier, another loud sound entered my ears.
* Creak... * A huge door just a few feet from where I was had started to open. A loud screeching noise followed the creak due to the dragging of the door against the ground.
" This is probably the second floor already... " I could hear a bunch of voices on the other side of the door.
Oh no...
* Thud Thud * The thumps started again, but instead of the slow intervals between the steps from earlier, you could figure out that the fucking Giant was full-on rushing.
Thankfully, the nonstop shaking of the ground stopped Drill and the others from moving. Without making any noise, I stood behind the pillar yet again.
Thud Thud THUD THUD
The sound of stomping full-on rushing where you at frightened the hell out of me. The shaking grew stronger, as the body of the giant finally showed itself.
It seems though as it was too quick, as it was heading straight towards the wall without stopping. And it seems like it had realized that as it grabbed a pillar to help him lose some speed. But as the giant was too quick, it had ripped off the middle part of the pillar.
The problem was it was the pillar I was hiding on...
" You gotta be kidding me. "
Thankfully, no debris hit me, but as I was fully exposed by the grand monster, I was in no position to be thankful as it was staring right at me with its dark eyes and sharp teeth.
I immediately started running away from the giant. The only place I could go to was the direction where the gate was as the other direction had an entire 30ft human hungry beast sitting on the ground. I couldn't care less if they saw me, I started sprinting passing the group, which seems to be as shocked as me, as they were all sitting on the ground probably due to the impact the giant just did. I think they didn't see me too with all that commotion.
I kept on running as I look behind where I was. Could I have a normal confrontation with a beast without me getting chased? I could only complain as I run away from the Giant. Though this time I came prepared. I brought out my spatial pouch as I try to look for the thing I bought earlier.
Thud Thud.
Fuck is it up now?
I can't outrun this thing. I might've outrun the Shrieker, but this thing can take a single step, and he'd reach me instantly.
Thankfully, there was a small intersection in front of me, so I took immediately took a turn without asking any longer. I finally managed to find the Tesla Coil stored in the pouch.
" You fucker, get ready to taste the power of Science and Myths " I put down the massive Tesla Coil just in the middle of the hall. I then brought some quills, these are not your normal quills. These are the quills of a Lightning Porcupine. A monster, known for its quills which are incredible conductors of electricity. I tossed the quills all around the coil. I broke the glass of the massive coil with a hammer and started getting ready to plug it into the Energy cell I bought earlier, as I hide behind another pillar.
Thud Thud Thud
It finally catches up to me. The Giant had reached the spot where I intended it to be, and bam. I plugged it in without hesitation, as I watch the Giant humanoid monster, recoil in pain.
" Thud " It collapses on the ground.
